Myles Jack

I am looking around for LB trade targets and I love the way Jack plays but he really put up lackluster numbers. Does anyone think this might improve or is he there to watch Telvin make the tackles?

Fascinating that no one has an opinion on this.

It was a tough year if you were expecting tackles from almost any Jaguar defender. I know Barry Church went from superstar IDP to absolutely unstartable for me.

I think Jack is coming into his own and that him and Telvin can eat side by side behind that beastly DLine, both getting some big plays occasionally, and limiting the production of the safeties behind them for the foreseeable future. I think Telvin will put up better numbers, when healthy, but Jack should remain a solid contributor.

What do we think the Jaguars have in mind for Jack this year? Give him another crack at MLB now that Poz has retired?

I think he’ll stay MLB and get more overall snaps this year.

Is Jack a better investment than my current starters?

Kirksey - a little nervous about losing snaps this season
David - role in defense
Barron - injury and being replaced
Davis - new role in defesense
McKinney - paper champion

Thanks

I would definitely prefer Jack to Barron and probably Kirksey

I prefer Jack to any of those guys except David.

Pretty lackluster season thus far. Trying to determine if he’s a buy low or a guy who simply won’t put up the stats. Any new opinions on Jack?

I guess it depends on what is low but I wouldn't be looking to buy him as every year LBs can be had for dirt cheap (and in some cases free) that will outperform what he has done thus far in his career.

certainly it is price dependent, but i meant more from the perspective of whether he is who he is and that isn't a stat producer, or do people think that he has the high volume potential and just hasn't tapped into that yet?

He shoulda stayed at RB.

But on a serious note yes it's been a quite year. I'm waiting for him to snap out of it but I'll be shopping him around during the offseason. Littleton and Milano have been outscoring him weekly.

He's just another Anthony Barr, valuable in real life but outside 2/3 games where he makes big plays he doesn't get enough tackles for fantasy purposes.
