Move Miller for Burfict?

Need some help with a trade. I have Lamar Miller on contract through next year. My team is 6-3 and will likely make the playoffs, but I don’t think I have a very good shot at winning it all. I’m looking to sell Miller before he falls off a cliff. I have been offered Vontaze Burfict who is in a contract through 2019 and a 2020 2nd round rookie pick. I know Burfict has plenty of issues, but when he’s on the field I think he is a top 5 LB with big scoring upside. I also have Nick Vigil which could be seen as Insurance for Burfict. The problem is, if I move Miller, it leaves me pretty thin at RB with Duke Johnson, Crowell, Burkhead and DeAndre Washington (16 team .5 ppr). But I’m not too confident Miller is going to be much better than those guys moving forward. Thoughts?

I have to imagine that Miller will see an increased workload with the likes of Tom Savage getting starts for the Texans. Ultimately, I'd hold and try and move him in the offseason.

Because of this, I'd probably hold. I understand the concern, but as you pointed out, Burfict is a suspension waiting to happen, and you could be out both players. The 2020 2nd round rookie pick is way too far down the road to matter.

I’d keep miller or would need something added to his side(Riddick type). Agree with above, pretty rare for me to move offense for defense

Thanks guys, you’ve talked me off the ledge. I’ll hold and see what happens. I originally was looking for a 2018 1st for Miller,is that something you would also consider? I just feel like we’ve seen this offense with inept QB play before and it doesn’t bode well for Miller. Plus, what will his role be like next year with Foreman in the mix? A second, albeit in 2020 plus Burfict felt close in value. But Miller has some nice playoff matchups that I️ need to try and take advantage of.

I'd take a first for Miller, unless you need him for a push this season. also depends on where that first is in a 16 team league
