What is everyone's thought on Jayon Brown moving forward? Snap counts have been steady. Is he the future ILB/SS hybrid for Tennessee or a JAG getting snaps right now? I don't know why but I keep thinking he could be a strong sleeper for next season.

Week 6 27/58 47%
Week 7 38/72 53%
Week 8 Bye
Week 9 33/75 44%

He has been on my watchlist since week one. I think he'll carve out a role, but I think he'll be average at best.

I have him on my watchlist. All late round IDPs are just an injury away...

He has my attention. He generated buzz in camp and has found a consistent role as a rookie. Avery Williamson is a UFA this offseason and they have an out on Woodyard's contract too. Realistically, I think they'd keep Woodyard at $3.5mil or there abouts because of his role on that defense. Williamson though, as a 25 year old hitting free agency, may be too pricey for them to keep and if they like what they see from Brown then he could be an every down starter next season. Definitely a guy I am looking to stash away now, before bye weeks end and teams have more bench spots to use on stashes and fliers.

smaller frame but thats the evolution of the position i guess. flipped him for Bowman when Bowman got released - guess I lucked out there - in next years draft there will be four more browns

Revisit. Woodyard looked done. Time to buy Brown?

I've been thinking about this. He got lots of passing package snaps down the stretch and is a decent enough hole plugger. Could he wind up a three down guy, even if his abilities aren't particularly impressive?
