Still only playing on 3rd downs it seems...not sure what happened while he was injured but his limited playing time and with Perryman coming back soon has me very concerned. Any thoughts?

Wasn't Perryman losing his 3rd down reps last year to Brown?

Yes to the OP, it's very concerning, and yes to the response. JB was the only every-down ILB for the Chargers last year.

Hayes Pullard is currently the only one worth starting, although even he is only playing about 85% of the snaps.

Correct, I said this as Perryman will be back getting early down work soon...so, it's another body taking snaps and would seem to lessen the chances of Brown getting the early down work back.

I haven't quite been following this situation much, but Brown was so good last year, I know he was injured but what's the deal here?

The narrative I've heard is that they're playing him in a part time role to keep him healthy.

Really hoping that he finds his mojo back. These past 6 weeks have been painful.

But what really irks me... Is the added syllable in his name! There's no "U" in Javatis :P

He has to earn the removal of that "U"...and he has not been close to doing that.

Or worse still, somebody referring to him as Javatis and not his actual name Jatavis.

No clue what if it means anything moving forward, and I know Pullard was injured, but it appears Brown led the LB's in snaps this past weekend with a Perryman a close 2nd...still seems to be a heavy rotation though.

Patience he will come back to 3-down LB. saw somewhere this last week that even though Pullard was leading in snaps he was the worst rated LB by PFF this year....cream will rise to the top.
