For you IDP folks --

I know it's early in the season yet, but Fowler has looked a bit more how we want him to. What do we think? Is he coming into his own?

Not enough snaps, and I don't see a path for him this year to get a lot more ..

You want him to have Ngakoue's role with 62 snaps for the game to be viable for IDP, he saw a season high of 37 last week vs PIT, 151 out of 344 on the year ..

Comparisons are 281 for Calais and 261 for Ngakoue, so an injury to either one of those guys he should get playing time ..

For me, he is still a specialist. A good, young specialist with plenty of jump and speed to be successful one day.

His PFF grade through five weeks is a solid 80. He's still not playing up to his draft pedigree, but what we're seeing so far in '17 is much better than what we saw last year. Ngakoue is definitely outplaying him, though. Jags found a 3rd round gem with him.

Fowler's biggest problem is himself. He's an asshole. As a dynasty IDP asset, I would try to sell him soon. Good chance he'll finish with double-digit sacks this year, providing you with a great sell-high opportunity. I think it is very likely Fowler's career could follow an arc similar to Greg Hardy's.

You definitely should post in the IDP forum, more focused eyes there!
Fowler is a great sell if you can garner anything decent, as his production has been ok but it won't last.

If someone offered me a decent return for Fowler, he would be gone. In larger leagues I might look at buying him for a late round pick (4-6) if I wanted a flier for the backend of the roster.

So, now that he's been traded to the Rams, do we expect a resurgence? With Donald and Suh, the offense needs to decide who to double team?

Meh, he was on a loaded DL before. I’d expect more of the same, probably gets ~20 tackles and 3-5 sacks ROS

Pretty good season on the Rams! Any chance he’s reclassified as an OLB this offseason?
