JJ Watt v. Leo Williams v. Aaron Donald

Legit question: Which is a prime buy-low? All of these guys are playing DE in a 3-4, but would easily transition to 3-tech in a 4-3 base scheme.

- JJ Watt will be 29 years old next season with one lost season on his resume (back).

- Leo Williams will be 24 years old next season with zero missed games on his resume.

- Aaron Donald will be 27 years old next season with just one game missed (hold out).

Of the three, only JJ Watt is producing above replacement level this year. Their owners are likely frustrated. Which one would you chase?

I would "chase" Leo above the others, as he probably comes with the lowest price tag.

In a startup, I would rather have Donald of those 3 tho.

Interesting take. Why do you differentiate here?

Lemme rephrase, why Donald in a startup? If we're assuming his price to be higher than Leo's, wouldn't your preference be the same whether you're trading for him or drafting him?

Help me glean some insight here. I'm looking to maybe buy-low on Leo.

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. In a startup, yes I would still probably take Leo a couple or few rounds later than taking Donald where he's bound to go.

I meant to say "In a vacuum", I would still rather have Donald
