What is Watt going for in your leagues?
What is Watt going for in your leagues?
I have Watt on a team that is nearing the end of a rebuild, but I also have numerous other highly rated DL's. I'm thinking of trading Watt, but really not sure where his value is right now. What deals have you seen lately involving him?

Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
IDPs in general, especially stars like Watt, carry wildly ranging values from league to league.
As a total generality, you should be able to get anywhere from a single high 1st (in a league starting 1-2 DL) to multiple 1sts or even a stud offensive prospect like Amari or Watkins.

Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
During our draft I got offered Watt and 2018 rd 3 for 2017 1.09. I quickly declined, although the offer wasn't bad. Offensive heavy scoring but needless to say Watt at his best is a monster edge at DE in this setup.
Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
The guys in my dynasty leagues who own Watt pretty much make him untouchable. You'd have to make a trade that was so over the top it probably shouldn't even happen. They just don't want to move Watt, even when he was hurt. I've tried for years.
Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
Your right, I had to over pay to get him while he was hurt. Hope that I get my investment back.
I gave up 2017 2.03, 2018 1st & 2nd rd. I wanted him, did I over pay? Yes, but ive always liked him and if he can get back healthy its like having a top tier LB on your roster. Hes my gronk on defense.lukkynumber13 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2017 3:15 pm IDPs in general, especially stars like Watt, carry wildly ranging values from league to league.

Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
I have him in both my high scoring IDP leagues. I have received offers but nothing that came close to gaining my interest. In both those leagues, there are multiple copies of him and none of those copies have been traded either. Comeback player of the year potential? Would make for a great story along with the Hurricane Harvey narrative.

just got traded before week one for a 2019 1st

Re: What is Watt going for in your leagues?
I just opened this thread thinking it was about TJ Watt. I think we are all going to have to get used to the fact that there are now two Watts worth discussing and need to specify when we mention one of them...haha
