Why is Khalil Mack listed as LB in so many places?

...why have so many places listed Khalil Mack as an OLB?

I am genuinely confused by this; I play on ESPN (which has him listed as a DL), but from talking to a friend as both of us have been trying to acquire Mack - realized that a lot of places have him listed as an OLB.

The Raiders run primarily a 4-3; yes Mack took snaps at both last year.
Even the Raiders depth chart lists him as DL.
Also took a look at the official NFL website, they too have him listed as DL.

What am I missing?

Haha where you been the past 8 months?? Under John Pagano, they're going back to a 3-4

I know about Pagano, but there has been no visible switch to being primarily 3-4; even in preseason they ran more 4-3.

The Raiders have had hybrid 3-4 and 4-3 packages for years, the team is not built to run a 3-4 base.

Is there an actual article stating they have switched? All I ever saw was speculation.

I don't personally know of such, it's just been the widely spread common knowledge for several months that he will no longer be a DE on MFL :/

Interesting. I tried to dig and dig myself but could not find anything definitive.
If he plays out the season as DE, I'm sure those that have him on MFL will be even more annoyed.
