Anything to see here?

As a nickle/free safety hybrid playing with a strong box safety with MFL listing him as a S it limits his upside. He has a knack for making splash plays though so could have some big weeks. I don't see his role being worth an every week start unless your league starts more than like 48 safeties but if he is listed as a corner anywhere there could be value and otherwise he has the talent to be a solid playmaking free safety so whatever that is worth in your league is the upside here. For free you could do worse but in many leagues you could likely do better

You'd have to have 800+ players rostered for him to even be a consideration.

I'm in a 12-team deep IDP, 65-man rosters, and most starting free safeties aren't rostered.

I dont think players rostered is nearly as important here as safeties started. If your league is only starting 2 safeties per team with a couple people flexing one then the 65 man rosters just mean you need to take extra shots at finding the next starting strong safety and would put a guy like miles killebrew last year above most free safeties in value because he fits that role. In a league where like 12 teams start 4 safeties or 16 teams start 3 safeties then half of the free safeties end up being started so they move up in value above backup strong safeties.

I keep seeing him on the outside, sure he isn't going to be a corner?

Even if he plays safety, he's not gonna play in the box. He's nothing.
