Mercilus for Karl Jospeh

That offer start up is just plain silly, right?

Depends on how he's valued in your league. In a tackle-heavy scoring league I wouldn't take this, but if big plays are more favored in your league and you could use a linebacker, I would think about it. Maybe try to get a little extra on there with a late round future pick. Mercilus is a 3-4 OLB that could benefit from Clowney and Watt getting the attention when rushing the passer.

Mercilus is a straight beast. I call him the most under-rated LB in all of football. He is my LB6 in advanced scoring where Khalil Mack and Von Miller are the top options. If your league devalues sacks, then ignore half of the top linebackers in the NFL.
Just a guy who loves fantasy football - specifically defense.

Big fan of Mercilus and if you're League values pass rushers appropriately I think he's a legit sleeper. With Watt and Clowney the center of opposing offenses attention, Mercilus could excel. He can move around the formation, so different things, and absolutely get double digit sacks. I own and am happy to hold.

On the other hand, if tackle based scoring, I'd take Joseph, whom I also own and expect an improved season from, at least in terms of splash plays.
