Mark Barron or Darron Lee? (poll)
Have to decide which one to keep later today. Leaning Lee. Don't really need Barron, and the switch to 3-4 concerns me a bit. We start 4 LBs and I have Kwon Alexander, Telvin Smith, Jaime Collins, Jatavis Brown, Myles Jack, and Jaylon Smith. What do you think? Tackle heavy, team in signature.

Darron Lee.
More opportunity and still some unknown/upside.

The unknown/upside is what intrigues me with Lee. I'm not counting on Barron as a starter (barring injuries of course), so this is an upside stash really. I think Barron will drop into coverage more this year, which he can obviously do, but Ogletree is the LB to own on the Rams. I think Lee will be the LB to own on the Jets.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I have Barron. I sold Lee last year. If choosing between them at this moment in time, I would choose Lee for some very petty reasons (namely Barron in a new scheme and age). However, the name cache of Jaylon Smith is more valuable, and I have some deep-seeded worries associated with holding the bag - if you know what I mean. Jaylon is a superb, gifted player. His tape is full of evidence. I worry that his best football is behind him with the difficult nature of his injury.
I would sell J Smith for more than you could get for either of the other two.

Thanks Bruiser. I went with Lee. I'm a big Jaylon fan and couldn't bring myself to sell him this offseason. I tried to sell Lee and Barron but didn't have any buyers. In the end, it came down to the same very petty reasons you mention above. Thanks for the reply.dlf_bruiser wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2017 7:08 pm Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I have Barron. I sold Lee last year. Yeah, that's quite a decision. I like all of them, but Barron has been "my guy" all along while Darron Lee has not been missed since I traded him. Jaylon is still on my team because his trade value is not as high as I figured when I originally replied to this post.
Fwiw, I sold Barron for a 2.15 this past March.
