Kwon Worth in my league (Poll Added)

Postby TB3falcons » Sun Jul 30, 2017 7:36 am

I own Kwon Alexander and am thinking about selling after his phenomenal season. In my league, he was the #5 overall scoring player. Am I too far off in value in asking for 2 1sts for the #5 overall player that turns 24 in 2 weeks?

Smart to sell high on him, not sure any defensive player will get you two 1sts though

2 first seems high for any defensive player. Especially given how cheap other productive lbs were last year

Here are 2 offers I have:

1) Ansah, Tyrell Williams, and Ramik Wilson for Conley and Kwon

OR

2) jordan Cameron & Shaq Thompson for Kwon

I might be tempted to go for the first one because of Tyrell Williams, but Ansah seems to be trending down with his injury worries and getting up there in age, and I'm not totally convinced that Ramik has a firm grip on that second ILB spot next to Johnson. I like Ramik, but I like him free, not as a piece in a Kwon trade. But overall I'd might go for this trade to get Tyrell Williams if I'm talented at LB and I could need to take some shots at DE.

As for the second offer I'm assuming that you mean Cameron Jordan. I would prefer Kwon in that situation as I'm fairly comfortable with Kwon being here to stay as a high-end LB starter whereas Jordan is a good but unexciting dyno asset and Shaq is a promising but unproven IDP asset.

I just worry Tyrell Williams may not be legit- he had a good season, but I feel like SD drafted a WR in the top 10 for a reason. Even though Mike W probably won't work out this year, where does that leave Tyrell in the long term?

I also own KA13, guess it could be good to have his back-up and the WR2 of the offense and hope he goes somewhere in 2 years (UDFAs get boned initially...)

Sure. But Tyrell was legit good last year. LAC drafting a WR in the top 10 might as well be based on their confidence in Keenan Allen's health, or a double-down commitment to make sure that their strength is a strength.

I'm not so worried about cluttered depth charts for dynasty. If a player has the talent the depth chart has a way of clearing up. But sure, it's not like Tyrell is a safe thing by any means.

If Kwon was top 5 in scoring, sell, sell, sell! Yes you are entitled to get whatever you can for your asset. Whether or not your leaguemates feel the same about his value is the question.

Kwon > any of those pieces. On the surface, those look light. The 2nd offer might be decent if you aren't giving a draft pick. Raekwon McMillan is average, imo, and he's only 20yrs old. He has really been getting hyped, tho.
