Eric Reid price check

I don't want to over think this, but tossing out the question never hurts.

It's looking like Eric Reid has the early lead in SS starting spot. I like my DB group, but I'm growing more concerned about Clayton Geathers' health.

Slim pickings are in my waiver wire, so I was thinking of offering my 4.01 pick for Reid. Am I over, under or about right for this offer?

In standard formats, I would not give a fourth round pick for a DB let alone a DB that we don't know is a top option. You know your form at best, so if there's some hidden value in DB then you make that call.

Think I'd wait for the draft and see who's available before offering that

Works for me. I'll wait until my draft day. Mine isn't until the 3rd week in August, so I should have a good idea who's going to start.

Thanks guys!

Fwiw, I'm buying free shares of Reid in every league. He's got upside for sure. I just don't ever advocate paying up to get a DB, let alone one who has only produced at replacement level. I am advocating for buying cheap shares of Reid, however.

In a nutshell, I take a zero approach at Safety and LB. I'll try to roster 3x the starting requirements during the offseason and trim back or consolidate when I'm required to.

He's hurt a lot. I hope he gets off to a hot start and I can flip him.
