Sharrif Floyd..... worth a roster spot?

So it's appears that the injury he had over a year ago has nerve damage and his "quad won't fire".
We have seen a slow and steady return for Jaylon Smith and his nerve damage, but that is in his foot. I know nothing about these type of injuries, but I can only imagine that it is even more difficult for a 300+ pound man. But does Floyd come back from this? Is he a hold on a start DT league? Or is he just clogging a roster spot.

Can't imagine he has any burst or explosion left. No reason to roster him in basically any format.

He's a DT. Even if he comes back eventually, it's a replaceable position unless it's start 3 DT or something.
