Our commish has not purchased the 2017 MFL league yet because everyone has not paid their dues. I need to roster a DT (2 are mandatory) now that Aaron Donald is designated as a DE on MFL (so I read). I have Rankins, but am thinking about picking up Allen if he is a DT. Has anyone on MFL looked to see Allen's designation. Also, who would you take a flier on if they are available. I run a 3-4 so only one DT is needed weekly.

Right now it's looking like both Allen and Thomas will be DEs. Allen is playing 3-4 DE whereas Thomas is expected to line up as a 4-3 RDE in base but move inside to 3-tech in sub-packages. They're both currently DEs in MFL.

Rankins is a super promising DT so if I were you I'd just pick that 2nd DT up off waivers.

If he has DT starting ability then he's a nice pick. If he's strictly a DE then you can forgot about him until the later rounds. He won't be more than a 5/6 sack guy.

Jonathan Allen had DT designation last I saw but that will not stay like that. He's not gonna be playing nose.
