Browns LB D'Qwell Jackson suffered what could be a serious injury during Tuesday's practice.
The Browns haven't commented on it yet, but the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot speculates that it was some sort of upper body injury. After going in the training facility to get checked out, Jackson came back out and teammates were consoling him, which can't be a good sign. We'll update you on his status when more is known. Re: D'Qwell Jackson injured
Updating an earlier item, it looks like LB D'Qwell Jackson has in fact suffered another pectoral injury.
It's not known if it's the same pectoral muscle that cost Jackson a good chunk of the 2009 season, but one would think that odds are good that it is. We will know more after Jackson has an in-depth exam, but this is something that could knock him out for the season. Stay tuned. Rotoworld

Re: D'Qwell Jackson injured
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the injury suffered by D'Qwell Jackson Tuesday night is not to the same pectoral he tore last season.
However, the Plain Dealer hasn't ruled out a tear of the other muscle, and Jackson underwent an MRI on Tuesday night. The Browns almost never say anything publicly about injuries, so the next announcement regarding Jackson could just as easily be a move to injured reserve as a return to the practice field. Rotoworld

Re: D'Qwell Jackson injured
Browns ILB D'Qwell Jackson will miss 4-8 weeks with a strained right pectoral muscle in his chest.
He's also getting a second opinion. Eight weeks would sideline Jackson until about October 10 -- the Browns' Week 5 game against Atlanta. We can't imagine he'll make the optimistic end of the timetable. In the meantime, the Browns figure to rotate Kaluka Maiava, Eric Barton, and perhaps others next to Chris Gocong. It's a poor IDP situation as long as Jackson is out. Rotoworld
