My league uses ESPN and I noticed the dual designations too. OLB's aren't automatically more valuable, but several of them are now IDP relevant depending on scoring. Von Miller is now a stud.

I wouldn't necessarily say that...it all depends on the role they end up having. A 3-4 OLB or 4-3 pass-rushing SAM will typically have a role that is better suited for IDP numbers than a 4-3 DE or 3-4 DE, but it's for sure not a hard rule. A situational pass-rusher might give you 7-10 sacks in a good year but he's going to offer little in terms of tackles.

The most important effect by bunching 3-4 OLBs together with DE is that it makes the DE position much deeper. In other words DEs become less valuable and LBs become more valuable. Even though 3-4 OLBs don't typically dominate the top of the LB scoring in regular IDP leagues, they really help make the LB position deeper with less of a drop-off in the LB3-LB5 range, so when you move them to DL scoring it makes the LB position much more shallow. Compared to a normal draft you should focus even more on LBs and top DBs early in the draft, and wait on DL. That is unless your starting position requirements demands you to put out a lot more DL; e.g. if you're starting 5 DL, 3 LB and 3 DB or something uncommon like that.

But I should also mention that 1 pt per tackle and 3 pts per sack sounds like a scoring system where you can wait on IDPs in general, especially if it's PPR, and you would be better off focusing on offensive players for at least the first three rounds, and depending on who's there in the 4th you're probably better off going offense there as well.
