If K. Ishmael DB in Atlanta plays mostly OLB will his designation change or stay at DB? If so, would he be worth an add to bolster a DB group?

Even if he does switch to WLB, he will be a part time player behind Campbell. Probably not worth an add

Given where we are in the offseason, and the outright statement that he will be playing LB, I would expect come the Regular Season he will be classified as a LB. When that happens he will not be worth much.

Agreed, his value is contingent on what position designation he has. In many leagues rosters in the offseason expand, this is one of those add's you make during this time in hopes that it works in your favor.

Even if he somehow keeps the S designation, he won't hold much value as a strong side LB, or a backup to D. Campbell.
