new to idp, trying to gague value

For team in sig. Orphaned team I took over and completely new to IDP. We have to start any 2 DL, 3 LB, 3 DB. My team has some serious holes to fill. I'm trying to gauge values of IDP. From last seasons stats by our scoring (1.5 tackle, .75 Assist, 3 sacks, 2 Passed Defended) Landon Collins was #1 at 229pts. 5 total IDP over 200pts. By contrast 75 on offense scored over 200 (Powell was #75)

So with that should elite IDP be treated about that same as elite TE?? (3 TE over 200. Kelce 223 v Collins 229)

Getting a lot of questions asking what it would take to get Neal. Not that I necessarily want to trade the best DB asset I have, It would be nice to know what fair is....

I would suggest reading through a lot of the threads on here discussing how people value IDP assets, especially DBs, in trade.

In response to Neal, in your format I would try to sell for any 2nd.

I was thinking the exact same. I'd try to sell a stud DB for a 2nd. I got 2.09 for Trumaine Johnson two years ago in a 16tm league. I'd cash in on Neal.

I say this, but realize that I'm still holding Eric Berry and Mo Burnett all these years. I won't just sell any DB! (I have them fairly cheap.) My Mark Barron share turned into a 3-down LB despite the wizard declaring that TJ McDonald was a better player. I still own Barron, but I let McDonald hit free agency. Silly me.

I am in an IDP league with similar scoring settings and paid a 2nd for him this off season. If you are selling, that is the zone. I agree with the gents above.

I'd say since the majority says his value is a 2nd, shoot for a late first. Be willing to settle on a 2nd if you're okay dealing him, but I'd be willing to bet somebody in your league likes him enough to give a late first.
