Quality of this year's defensive class overall?

How is everyone feeling about this year's draft overall and from a positional standpoint compared to the last couple of years?

What positions are the strongest?

What positions are the deepest?

Edge rushers: this class is flat out loaded.
Myles Garrett is the best of the group but he's far from alone.
Solomon Thomas is right behind him.
Derek Barnett is a guy who doesn't have freak athleticism like Garrett, but his technique is the best in the entire class.
Taco Charlton has a ceiling to be a Carlos Dunlap clone
Takk McKinley, Charles Harris, & Carl Lawson are all guys who could go in the top 15, or fall to the first half of the 2nd round, but they're very good OLB/DE tweener prospects.

Off-ball LBs: this is the only weakness of this year's rookie class.
Reuben Foster has the chance to be a top 3-5 dynasty LB in the next 12 months. Beast. Also, likes to fight with hospital workers...
Raekwon McMillan has name cache & also tested REALLY well @ the combine.
Zach Cunningham is supposed to be 2nd only to Foster as a prospect.
Hassan Reddick & TJ Watt both played as edge guys in college, but may switch to off-ball LBs at the pro level. Elite athleticism.
Anthony Walker & Jarrad Davis are ballers with a couple flaws.
Duke Riley is a fast riser, no pun intended. Not as much of a blazer as his former teammate Deion Jones, but very fast dude who will probably be a starter in the league for a few years.
Kendall Beckwith, another LSU Tiger, very different ILB. He's more of a D'Qwell Jackson, old school MIKE type
All of the above should be gone by end of the 4th.
*Jalen Reeves Mabin is an undersized & inury prone guy who would be best suited as a WLB. High ceiling if he can stay healthy & win/keep a starting job. Could get drafted anywhere from the 4th to the 7th or UDFA

As far as Corners go, I'll just say it's loaded. There are legitimately a dozen guys who could make the case for being 1st rounders in a normal year.

Safety is very loaded, the headliners are Jamal Adams & Peppers for IDP, Hooker may end up as the best real life safety in the draft, and guys like Obi, Justin Evans, Eddie Jackson, Budda Baker, & many others will all be in the mix

Jonathan Allen is the best of this group by far. Could be a 3-4 DE, could play End or Tackle in a 4-3.

Malik McDowell has a very high ceiling but a very low floor. Work ethic/play energy concerns

Chris Wormley is probably the opposite of McDowell. Not as high of a ceiling, but a safe bet to be a contributing 3-4 DE (or 4-3 DT) in the league for awhile

Montravius Adams, Jaleel Johnson, & Caleb Brantley are all DTs who should be fine by the end of the 2nd round.

DeMarcus Walker is one of my favorites, could end up as anything from a 3-4 OLB, to a 4-3 DT. Big tweener type who was very productive as a sack artist for the Seminoles

That's a hell of a breakdown man! I was really trying to figure out if I should buy into some picks in the middle rounds of my IDP leagues to snag some of these guys, and it seems like that would be a good idea!

To be fair, it's a better real life class than IDP, as a lot of these stud pass rushers will end up as 3-4 OLBs of course, but still a nice class for IDP
