Manziel will take a NFL snap before him.

No wonder he was still available at the 31st pick.

Sounds like he's likely gone; Raiders will pick him up though (they always seem to) so guess there's still hope if you've room to hold for a year or more (court time and upcoming suspension).

Sucks for Foster owners. Maybe he can strike a deal, but let's see what happens.

and now the woman accuser has recanted in full, how convenient for him and his future earnings!

alas, gone are the days that you could accuse a young star athlete of a serious crime just to get an out of court settlement to allow him to keep playing.

Prosecution is pressing on with the case.

Only two games feels like a win for Foster considering where we were not too long ago. Still a very risky asset to own though.

Looking forward to seeing what Fred Warner can do in those two games to kick off his career.

Owners should sell now while there is good news

I agree with both of these comments ^^^^

1. Warner should see 80%+ of the snaps in weeks 1 & 2, giving him a legit shot to never see the bench again if he impresses.

2. Sell the loose cannon now while you can. Or maybe wait until week 3, but definitely sell this season.

I agree, and that is my hope for Warner. Tough task potentially for a rookie to have that big a role out of the gate, but all indications are that he’s a smart guy so hopefully he’s up to the task. I like his ability level relative to the rest of the depth chart to make it happen.

I also agree on selling Foster (who I love), but think you need to wait until this is further behind him. Mid-season when people are seeing the production and (potential) highlights is likely the more optimal time. Anyone buying right now is looking for discounts. Good outcome or not (regarding the two games), it’s still a fresh suspension, so people aren’t thinking of buying anything but low. Frankly, I’d consider buying low and selling mid-season, depending on price.

Agree 100%. As a Fred Warner owner, I was a little bummed Foster's suspension wasn't longer, but 2 games is enough for Warner to get his foot in the door. Everything I've read is in line with your comments....fast, high football IQ, very mature, a quick study etc. Hopefully he continues to impress once camp starts and thru the preseason.

I am glad I never bought Foster, really glad I picked up Warner before the season started!
