IDP Stashes for 2017

I'll add Kentrell Brothers to this list. He was super-productive in college and could be in a great opportunity as the WLB in Minnesota if Greenway retires. I had him fairly high on my watch list, and I believe his draft stock fell due to below average measurables.

Great call here. Nobody seems horribly safe in Minny right now, other than probably Kendricks.

Do we not think Anthony Barr is safe? Hes had a bad year in terms of quality but still played about 1,000 snaps. And his 2015 showed he has all the ability in the world.

I liked Brothers' film but for me he'll only get on the field if the Vikes do a crazy trade/cut or someone gets hurt.

That's why he's a stash and not a must-get I guess

Barr profiles strictly as a SAM in Minny, while Brothers is a MIKE/WILL. Greenway is lonnng in the tooth, but is heralded as a HOFer to the Minny fanbase. I suppose Brothers could only 'win' the job, nothing is a given.

I know but hes playing that way all season and leads Vikes LBs in playing time. He is a SAM of course Bruiser but I'd rather have a SAM who plays 3 downs than a WILL on the bench. One to watch I guess

I agree with that, Tom. Barr has produced well, too, at times. I could see a reason for stashing him over Brothers, no doubt.

Spaight was someone I put on my watchlist for the ROS because of the Will Compton injury. I've always had Spaight on my watchlist, but his injury history (concussions?) is rather alarming.

He looked like he was playing in sand against Carolina. But then again, there may be 2 open spots at ILB this coming year and opportunity is everything with LBs in fantasy

I quite like Jayron Kearse as a real flier. I liked him coming out, hes got a unique build and ZImmer kept giving him a few snaps here and there. Interesting one for me

Liking Dupree alot in a few of my IDP leagues. But I believed he filled in at RE for Heyward the last few games? Not too much competition on the outside, with lackluster numbers from Moats. Contracts expiring for Jarvis Jones and James Harrison. Very good opportunity of he stays healthy.

I haven't got round to watching W17 yet but I think he moved around a bit in W16



At LB Arthur Moats and Jarvis Jones were losing snaps to Dupree.

At DE Leterrius Walton and Johnny Maxey started getting signficant snaps since Heyward and Tuitt got hurt:

What are people's thought on Keith Tandy? Does he keep the job over Conte?

I think so! He played well down the stretch and Conte is set to be a FA. Can't imagine Tampa is gonna pay up to keep the aging & oft-injured Conte

He ain't free! Haha ever since that Tampa game a few weeks ago, Irving has been scooped up everywhere. I do like him tho. What about the other prospect there, Benson Meyowa?
