Calvin Pryor

Postby Death_From_Above » Tue Dec 27, 2016 4:48 pm

In one of my leagues we have a week after championship to cut down to a roster size before it expands again for off season tasks, just one of the qwerks.

I have ol Pryor labeled as an easy cut or shall I say had him labeled as such until this news of him being on the trade block.. Why oh why do I still hold on to hope here? lol

The DB scoring isn't the end all be all, for reference Landon Stud Collins put up a hell of a season and ended up rightfully so as DB1 @ 144.8 points. Pryor and all his glory posted @ DB106 with 55.5 points. My other DBs are : Reshad Jones, Malcolm Jenkins, Addae, Shawn Williams, and then Marcus Cooper and Casey Hayward (fwiw I just don't see Cooper or Hayward retaining the value they had this year).

We start 2 but can flex out a 3rd but with the position not yielding that many points due to the scoring format I usually start 2. Am I wishing on a star here by still holding out hope for Pryor with a new regime change in NY or somewhere else or is it time to cut bait ?

Thanks

This. I gave up on Pryor midway thru 2016. Nothing to see here.
Just a guy who loves fantasy football - specifically defense.

I would cut Pryor with confidence. He's unlikely to ever be a high volume anything based on what I've seen. If you see something you like add him back later.

Appreciate the help. I know the rule is DB in season, I dont know why I was stuck as long as I was holding on this guy hoping he would amount to something. I made the drop about an hour after posting this so I think the post was more my goodbye speech to him. lol

Thanks again
