My ranking of 35 DL in Dynasty (NON DT-premium)

Just my thoughts on the top 35 DT & DE in dynasty, IMHO. As I put in the title, this isn't giving any weighted scoring preferences to DT, so all linemen are ranked together.

1. Khalil Mack (Has to be. Young, dominant, sacks & tackle floor, does it all)

2. JJ Watt (I respect Bruiser's concerns about him but I still have him as the 2nd best DL)
3. Carlos Dunlap (Still relatively young and having another nice season)
4. Mo Wilkerson (As an owner, I'm concerned about him this season. But this dude has such a good floor)
5. Leo Williams (Could be #2 overall by the end of the year)
6. Aaron Donald (Beast)
7. Ziggy Ansah (Feel free to show up this year!)
8. Everson Griffen (As high of a ceiling as anyone in this tier)

9. Cam Jordan (Not quite the ceiling or tackle floor to be in the above tier)
10. JPP (Still relatively young and we know he can be a STUD. Very good tackle floor)
11. Danielle Hunter (His low snap count is showing, but his time will come)
12. Robert Quinn (26 years old. I think he'll be back)
13. Olivier Vernon (Very nice player. If the NYG defense ever improves so will his stats)
14. Fletcher Cox (Lovely tackle floor)

15. Joey Bosa (Already shown a great ceiling)
16. Derek Wolfe (One of the leaders of a historic Defense)
17. Deforest Buckner (Imagine if he was a DE on a good team!)
18. Sheldon Richardson (If not for the off-field crap he would be top 10)

19. Jadaveaon Clowney (I cheated here and subbed him for Sheard, since JC is playing a legit down lineman role now and has potential to be a monster)
20. Geno Atkins (This is banking on his sacks returning)
21. Demarcus Lawrence (Sheldon Richardson-lite)
22. Calais Campbell (Continues to put up tackles & occasional sacks)
23. Frank Clark (Danielle Hunter-lite)

25. Noah Spence (Looks to be coming into his own already. Hope he doesn't become an OLB eventually)
26. William Gholston (Tons of tackles no sacks)
27. Cliff Avril (Sacks but no tackles)

29. Dante Fowler Jr. (We are ASSUMING he'll be great)
30. Kawaan Short (Last year was great, this D is coming back to form now)
31. Timmy Jernigan (Having quite the year so far!)

33. Jurell Casey (Solid tackle numbers, sacks come & go with him)
34. Stephon Tuitt (Still young & developing)
35. Kony Ealy, Jabaal Sheard, Mario Edwards Jr, Henry Anderson, Michael Bennett, Robert Ayers, & Mario Williams ALL TIED

Sheard needs to drop, possibly off the list. He has been demoted in a big way starting two weeks ago. Flowers is looking like the guy to own there now.

Thanks for making the list, interesting to look over. I am in only one IDP league but it is the only league I care about - that said, I really I know about "my" DL guys so several of the guys listed I don't even know what team they are on! I am also wondering about Flowers since Sheard is no longer putting up points. Also, I am surprised that Derek Wolf is listed as he always seemed more like a JAG to me. Glad that I was able to trade for Mack earlier this year! Thanks again for putting the list out!

I just cheated and added Clowney in, since he is legitimately playing as a lineman now.

This is good stuff LN. I disagree with loads of course but it's great to see people contributing original content.

I'm struggling to keep up with everything in season right now but I cant wait to formulate rankings and projections come offseason

Appreciate this list. Couple quick thoughts - I don't agree with the gap between Mo wilk and L. Williams over S.Richardson as far as dynasty/fantasy go. I'm personally downgrading F. Cox. I think the new scheme hurt his stat line. Watching him play, he's getting stuffed up taking on blockers inside.

Sheard didn't even travel with the team to SF due to coaches decision, drop him right?

I was able to grab clowney for Brate (TE Tampa), hopefully he gets changed to DL next year.

I just dropped him in my league. For whatever reason, he is in the dog house big time. His only saving grace is he becomes a free agent after this season. I've always liked his skill set and measureables. I feel like he was improperly used in Cleveland. He finally started to flash in New England and now this. I cut ties because I had other needs and was fortunate to grab Flowers. I could see Sheard getting another crack elsewhere though.
