Week 3

Postby dxw100 » Thu Sep 18, 2014 9:32 am

Since it's Thursday and noone else has started I figured I'd give it a go again. (This is just general guys I like but I play FanDuel and DraftKings now)

QBs
It's gonna be a shootout in Detroint so I like Matt Stafford and Aaron Rodgers quite a bit. Gun to my head I prefer Stafford because he's cheaper and at home. I also like Drew Brees returning home and down 0-2 with a bit of fire though it may be a blow out.

RBs
At the top I still like Demarco Murray against St. Louis. He's been a stud this year and I'm pissed I didn' chase hard enough in Dynasty. I'm also a fan of Gio Bernard and Jeremy Hill against a weak TEN front and potentially without AJG. The last two are more punt plays but they should have a big lead so plenty of attempts as Steven Ridley faces Oakland and Ahmad Bradshaw faces Jacksonville.

WRs
Goin back to the Detroit shootout, I like both Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate and may put all 3 in a stack. Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are also in a shoot but GB is more expensive than Detroit. Brandon Marshall will be called on again if the Bears can't run against NYJ. Keenan Allen is pretty cheap after facing Patrick Peterson and Richard Sherman But has things much nicer against Buffalo. Percy Harvin may be heavily involved in a shootout against Denver. A few other names I like: Eric Decker and Mike Wallace

TEs
I plan to pair Brees with Jimmy Graham in at least one GPP lineup. Otherwise I like Travis Kelce or Donnell as cheap options.

DST
New England is my top play but could be too rich. Houston could be solid. Miami should get a fair share of sacks against a weak KC OLine. And of course Indianapolis get a piece of Jacksonville.

im gonna be rollin with stafford as well.

for rbs, i think khiry robinson (4700 at fanduel) is an absolute steal as he should see a good amount of touches and goalline/redzone oppurtunities. i dont feel awesome about many rbs in general this week, so im gonna go cheap. pierce doesnt look great, but hes another guy who should see volume carries for cheap on fanduel.

wrs i think harvin is a great deal still, guy can absolutely go off in any game and hes priced at 7700 still, not too bad. Tate for 5k could wind up being a huge steal.

tight ends, i know hes not popular in dynasty anymore, but i have a feeling about Jared Cook. he's a safe bet for 40 to 60 yards and i think he has a good chance to get in this end zone this week against Dallas. i usually just go Graham at tight end, but cook is cheap and can easily outplay his dollar amount.

After my dominant week 2, I was riding high into week 3. Thought I was golden stacking Lions in multiple matchups, only to be let down big time. Only placed in 1/9 of my matchups & took one on the chin this week. Was up 300% of my initial deposit going into the week. Not so much now

Ditto... Too much Lions exposure
