Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1st Rd)
1.02 - Team 2 - Gurley
I almost would go Cooper. It would give him Watkins, Benjamin and Cooper as a trio of WR and could get RB's at 1.05 and 1.08. But ultimately the WR's at those picks will likely be better than the RB's.

1.03-Team 1- Amari Cooper
This team has holes everywhere and Amari Cooper is the best WR in the class comparable to Sammy Watkins. Gives Team 1 a solid rebuild with Gordo and Cooper.

1.04 - Team 3 - Devante Parker
Is trading back an option? LOL. The holes are plenty on this roster, in which case Best Player Availabale is an absolute must. I think Devavnte Parker is that guy at 1.04.

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.04 OTC)
OP: On team 4, it would help to know which Brown is his WR. I'm assuming it's Antonio, but you never know.
1.06: Mike Davis, RB - South Carolina
Team 4 is loaded at WR with Demaryius, Antonio and Gordon. TE is also a strength with Olsen as the veteran and Sefarian-Jenkins developing. RB looks like the weakest point. Foster is great, but getting up there in mileage, Gore could retire after the season and Spiller's future depends on free agency. I'll take Davis here as a young workhorse who can compliment Tre Mason going forward. Davis is very athletic and explosive for his size and runs angry. He's also a very good receiver out the backfield.

1.08 - Thought about Tevin Coleman, but I will go with BPA...Dorial Green Beckham (if he declares, I think he is the 2nd or 3rd best WR in the class, putting off the field issues aside).

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.09 OTC)
Team 6 needs immediate rb help and some WR depth. Tough one between Coleman and strong here, but I will go with Tevon Coleman for team 6. This could easily be ajayi, yeldon or duke johnson depending on landing spot, but just based on talent alone and an unknown situation, I will go coleman.

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.09 OTC)
1.11: Duke Johnson.
Team 7 has a lot of older pieces and lacks rb depth. Probably could survive another year with Charles and Forsett, but Duke makes sense here for the future.

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.09 OTC)
1.12 Jalen Strong
Team 8 looks pretty bad IMO, he have some strength in RB, and can keep going with Rivers for a while.
So WR would be my top priority and anyway, he has another pick 2 rounds later.
Fortunately, Strong is available and that's a great opportunity so late in the draft.

Re: Dec/Jan-16 team Ultimate Rookie Mock (1.13 OTC)
1.13 (Team 9) -- WR, Sammie Coates
This team needs help at RB and WR both, and while I think the best on the board is a RB, we're going to go high-upside here and try to secure a cornerstone at WR because I think that's where you need to start the rebuilding process. Coates is a player that should project better in the pros than he did in college and has the physical tools to be an elite player in the NFL if he can put it all together. The fact that he's a bit of a project shouldn't hurt, either, because this team is a few drafts away from seriously competing and has time to wait on him.
