2.2 - Marcus Mariota QB

First and best QB off the board. Winston could end up being better but at this point Mariota is safer and less dramatic. He is accurate, runs a pro style offense, and athletic. Might be a bit of a reach but I like the pick here.

2.3: TJ Yeldon, RB - Alabama.

Ball protection is an issue but I think this is about the right spot for Yeldon. Could see him as a starter somewhere

2.4: David Cobb, RB, Minnesota

I like the size listed 220, and he's been one of the more productive backs this year.

2.5: Ty Montgomery, WR - Stanford

Should have an immediate roll in the NFL with his combination skill as a receiver and return man. Let's hope his value at 17th overall exceeds all of the Ted Ginn Jr. comparisons he's been getting.

2.06 Jeremy Langford, RB Michigan State. Winston or Coats might be better here than the 8th RB post-draft since there's only so many decent landing spots for RB's but for now we'll go with talent over situation. The Leveon Bell comparisons have already started so I'm jumping on him in the mid second.

2.07 Stefon Diggs, WR Maryland This jitterbug could become a playmaker in the NFL similar to Percy Harvin. He is small and fast and probably projects out of the slot but at 2.07 hey why not.

2.08: David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa

What else can you hope for in the middle of the 2nd as WR's take time to mature. Johnson is a stout runner with strong, decisive strides as an athlete, forcing defenders to bring their big boy pants to bring him down. He looks more like a linebacker than a running back with thick build and imposing muscle tone from head to toe. He projects as a bigger version of Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Charles Sims, who is at his best torching linebackers as a pass-catcher, working the middle of the field.

2.09: Justin Hardy, WR - Eastern Carolina

His reception numbers are a bit inflated because of the offense he plays in but Hardy can flat out play. Athletic receiver with good hands who has little trouble creating separation and is good with YAC. Very elusive. Has size concerns and hasn't received huge recognition playing at a small school but could be a very productive slot receiver.

2.10 Rashad Greene WR, Florida State

Consistently see him in the first couple rounds of NFL mocks and top 10 of rookie WR ranking. Seen him described as a QBs best friend, meaning at worst he's a safety blanket. Breaking records At FSU in terms of catches and possible more. Not prototypical sized but late second I like this high floor.

2.11 Tevin Coleman

Not sure how he hasn't gone yet! This guy is a great talent. May be a little stiff but his burst out of the hole is sublime. At 2.11? yes please

2.12 - Tyler Kroft, TE, Rutgers 6'-5" 240 lbs. (Proj. round 3-4)

I'm having difficulty finding the kind of WR deserving a 2nd round fantasy football grade at the moment, so I'll take a TE with the redzone size that Kroft has. He doesn't appear to have the strength to be a great blocking TE, so I think he could be used in the redzone. His play is reminiscent of a bigger version of Riley Cooper and with Ralph Friedgen now leading the Rutgers offense. Friedgen has coached several NFL tight ends, including Vernon Davis.

3.01: Jameis Winston, QB: Florida State

Why not at this point? I'm not sure his ceiling is as high as other headline QB's, but at 3.01 it's worth the flyer to find out.

3.02 - Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech 6'5" 232lbs. (Proj. round 5-7)

Demonstrates soft hands, tracks the ball well vertically and is naturally a contender for any jump ball. I came away impressed with some of his tape, and he's coming from a great college that has produced WR's like DeMarius Thomas and Calvin Johnson.
