Complete 7 rd mock draft (O players in this post)

Postby Risky bidness » Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:02 pm

I went through a complete 7 rd mock draft and pulled the offensive fantasy players with the rd and pick they were put at. Do you like what your team in this draft offensively? This makes the player look a little different when you put a round and pick on them IMO as opposed to a rookie fantasy draft ranking projection. Any suprises on the list in your opinion?

1.4 Redskins - QB - Sam Bradford (I guess Campbell is dunzo if this happens)
1.6 Seahawks - QB - Jimmy Clausen
1.14 Seahawks(from Denver) - RB - C.J. Spiller (so much for forsett?)
1.20 Texans - RB - Joe McKnight (too high. big combine he could sneak into late 1st)
1.21 Bengals - WR - Dez Bryant (don't know if he'll make it here. i'd put a TE here)
1.29 Vikings - TE - Jermaine Gresham (shaincoe anyone?)
1.30 Chargers - RB - Jahvid Best (I think a RB makes sense here. or trade for Lynch!!!)

2.1 Rams - QB - Colt McCoy
2.5 Redskins - RB - Ryan Matthews (smell you later Portis)
2.6 Browns - RB - Jonathan Dwyer (don't like this at all. I'd go some sort of LB or CB here)
2.7 Raiders - QB - Tim Tebow (hey, at least if he doesn't play well, he'll still never be as bad as J Russ)
2.10 Patriots(from Jacksonville) - RB - Toby Gerhart (can't you just see him converting to FB at some pt)
2.15 Panthers - WR - Marshawn Gilyard (I like WR here, but they need D line help severely)
2.16 Patriots(from Tennessee) - WR - Golden Tate (what are the chances that 2 Tate's are on the same team)
2.18 Chiefs(from Atlanta) - WR - Brandon LaFell

3.1 Rams - RB - Anthony Dixon
3.8 Browns - QB - Jevan Snead (guy looked pretty bad this year. least he'll have Quinn to learn from?)
3.9 Bills - QB - Tony Pike
3.18 Texans - WR - Jordan Shipley (makes sense, he's white and texans have tons of white WR's. haha)
3.25 Ravens - TE - Anthony McCoy
3.26 Browns(from Jets) - TE - Tony Moeaki (looked kinda money in his bowl game against GT)
3.27 Cardinals - TE - Aaron Hernandez

4.3 Buccaneers - WR - Damian Williams
4.7 Browns - WR - Arrelious Benn
4.8 Raiders - RB - Dexter McCluster (i've seen him listed as RB or WR in mocks. which is it?)
4.9 Bills - TE - Garrett Graham
4.11 Jaguars - QB - Dan LeFevour
4.12 Dolphins - RB - Montario Hardesty
4.24 Eagles - WR - Demaryius Thomas
4.25 Ravens - WR - Dezmon Briscoe
4.26 Jets - WR - Antonio Brown
4.30 Chargers - WR - Danario Alexander

5.1 Rams - WR - Riley Cooper
5.11 Chiefs(from Dolphins) - RB - Ben Tate
5.13 49ers - QB - Sean Canfield
5.20 Steelers - RB - Charles Scott
5.21 Bengals - TE - Colin Peek
5.27 Cardinals - WR - Jeremy Williams
5.29 Vikings - QB - Tyler Sheehan
5.30 Texans(from Chargers) - QB - Tim Hiller

6.2 Lions - RB - Chris Brown
6.5 Dolphins(from Redskins) - WR - Eric Decker
6.6 Panthers(from Raiders) - QB - Zac Robinson
6.9 Bills - WR - Freddie Barnes
6.11 Bears - WR - Shay Hodge
6.13 49ers - WR - Chris McGaha
6.15 Giants - TE - Dennis Pita
6.27 Cardinals - QB - Jonathan Crompton
6.29 Vikings - RB - Andre Dixon
6.31 Saints - TE - Nathan Overbay
6.32 Eagles(from Colts) - RB - Joique Bell

7.2 Lions - WR - Jacoby Ford
7.5 Dolphins(from Chiefs) TE - Jimmy Graham
7.9 Bills - RB - Darius Marshall
7.11 Buccaneers(from Jaguars) - TE - Jeron Masturd
7.13 Broncos - TE - Cody Slate
7.16 Titans - QB - Chris Todd
7.21 Bengals - QB - Ryan Perrilloux
7.22 Broncos(from Patriots) - QB - Bill Stull
7.23 Packers - RB - Keith Toston
7.31 Saints - RB - Curtis Steele

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

I don't think McKnight will go in the 1st round or be the 2nd RB taken.
ECFFL (Commissioner) - Mullet Mullitia
Gridiron 3 - Hamden Hawks
UDL - Connecticut Cowboys

Cleveland needs defense. They would be foolish to go offense in all rounds 2-4. With the emergence of Harrison and Davis in the fold, I don't think they need to go RB in this draft. I expect they will also pass on taking a WR early and hope that Robiskie emerges on the other side from Massaquoi. QB should be a pretty safe bet if they don't add a free agent. DA should be gone and Quinn the starter for 2010, but beyond that who knows?

I see the Seahawks going QB and then Offensive Tackle. They need help in their O- Line.

(this has very little to do with visions of my Forsett mancrush blossoming.)

Just wondering why Best was chosen for the Chargers instead if Dwyer or Mathews? It seems they have a Best type back in Sproles, and a more of a LT back form the draft.

Wow, Regis Benn is now a 4th rounder? Nice 4th round pick by the Browns as Holmgren is already earning his money I suppose (Also getting Dwyer in the 2nd round was nice) :D

I can only hope the Skins don't go QB and RB early like this mock. No sense getting a QB if they can't keep him upright. Shanny's history dictates them getting an RB later in the draft too. They REALLY need O-line early and often.

Great,thx!

It would surprise me if the Raiders and Al Davis would actually make such a good choice and take Rolando McClain.

they won't!! lol... They will take Taylor Mays probably. That team has soooooo many issues.

To prinefan....I doubt Shanahan will be stupid enough to go with QB and RB that early. Too many needs due to age on that team for him to ignore. I think O-line has to be done (possibily two in the first four rounds)

I've no objections to the Bucs taking D with their first three picks and getting much of a new defensive line.
