Forming NEW 12 Team PPR Dynasty

I'm starting a new 12 team PPR Dynasty League through MFL (http://www9.myfantasyleague.com/2012/home/70171#0) and looking for some serious, competitive, and fun owners to join.


• 12 teams
• 23 player rosters: 10 Starters each weak and 13 bench spots
• PPR
• Non IDP
• QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, RB/WT/TE, K, Team DEF,13 BN spots,
• All TD's = 6 pts, Rushing/Receiving .1 pts/yard (10 to 1), Passing .04 pts/yard (25 to 1), 1 point per reception
• Weekly waivers - Free Agent Auction Budget will be used for waivers
• 23 Round Startup Draft (following each season, each team must drop team down to 19 before rookie draft )
• 4 Round Rookie/Free Agent Draft - Reverse order of standings, non snaking
• 3 divisions
• $60 yearly buy-in thru LeagueSafe.com with an additional $30 dollars the first year to esnure Commisioners don't quit that will be refunded before the Year 3 rookie draft. The reason for this is two-fold: it allows you to trade draft picks for the next two drafts AND it discourages owners from quitting on their dynasties during rebuilding years.
•MFL fee $80 will be taken out of payout
•Weekly Payouts for Highest Scoring Team, Highest Scoring QB, Highest Scoring RB, and Highest Scoring WR/TE will be paid $3 each
•End of Year Payout for Top four teams....4th place $30, 3rd $60, 2nd $120, 1st $274
•League will vote on draft preference: Either online live draft or Initial draft will be a slow draft via email: you will have to submit a pic via email, text, or call within 4 hrs or pick will be made by best available based on ADP from mock draft central rankings
•Draft order will be randomized before the draft
•You can Trade draft spots and future draft picks before and during the draft

I currently have 3 of the 12 franchise spots filled: 9 spots left


I have been playing fantasy football for over a decade and I have acted as commissioner of dozens of re-draft leagues over the years. I currently am in one dynasty league and I will have 2 or 3 leagues in the NFFC. I am a devoted commisioner and will do my best to make this the best fantasy football experience for all of us.

I am especially interested in people who will be active and like to trade, committed, and talk a little smack.

If you can't keep all of your players, i.e. you have a cutdown prior to the draft, it's not a Dynasty league, it's a large Keeper league. Will you consider this change?

I believe you can run a live draft with a really slow time on MFL, so it would be a slow draft without the email hassle. Would you consider this?

Thanks for the reply! I like the idea of keeping the rosters stable at 23. In order to do that and have a rookie draft, then people need to trim their roster.

Why not allow the coach to keep a player, and not use a rookie pick if he/she chooses?

We usually either cut a player as you draft a player, which I don't like, but is acceptable. Or we expand the roster temporarily and then have a cutdown date after the draft - preferred. That's Dynasty. If you can't Keep your whole Team it's a Keeper league, even if it's 399 out of 400.
