• 16 teams / 4 divisions
  
• $100 buy-in, collected through Leaguesafe.com, paid out upon Majority Approval. No deposit.
  
• Empire pot: $500 added yearly, until someone repeats as champion, league will continue after pot is paid out
  
• Contract format, so lots of roster turnover, lots of action
  
• Draft picks (both rookie and veteran) are dispersed through an Auction
  
• Superflex with custom QB scoring (very low floors)
  
• Staggered PPR for RBs/WRs/TEs
  
• Double and Triple-headers each week
  
• 3rd round of rookie draft occurs before NFL Draft
  
• 1st and 2nd round of rookie draft occur after NFL Draft
  
• Veteran Draft in early summer
  
• GroupMe participation is mandatory

Experienced Commissioner looking for extremely active, engaged owners. This league will have more action than just about anything else, and it all starts in February (except the start-up, which will begin once league is full and paid).

Contract leagues are a ton of fun, essentially glorified keeper leagues. Tons of action, lots of opportunity to turn things around quickly... And I designed the rules to maximize the amount of turnover and action.

Also, by allocating rookie and veteran picks through an auction, it will ensure that the playing field will be more jumpled and unclear, making it more challenging for owners as they decide whether to invest in rookie picks or veteran picks, early or late.

I am just curious how one does the 3rd round of a Rookie draft before the 1st 2 rounds?

But to answer your question, the 3rd Round Draft will exclude the top 32 ranked rookies. It's a way for everyone to tip their toes into a Pre NFL Draft rookie draft without jumping all the way in. It also increases the value of 3rd round picks, which in most 16 teamer are largely valueless.

Do owners have to pay any kind of deposits?

This does sound like a ton of fun honestly, but a little too time consuming for my schedule currently I think. Maybe once I cut down on some of my redraft leagues!

No, there's no deposit. I've found that deposits don't really incentivize guys to stick around, and for a league like this, with high roster turnover, deposits are unnecessary, since a new owner can re-do a team very quickly and easily.

And since it's a $100 league, wanted to avoid having guys needing to pony up $200 up front.
