I run great leagues, and have been doing it for many years. Most people play in multiple leagues that I run, because they love them, and good leagues matters to them.

I liked, and 100% agree with your response. I can get 10 people to say positive things on here, but I’m not going to waste my time with him.
This is a great community and I love DFL. So happy there are only a few trolls. Sure people can play for free in other leagues, and sure their are great commissioners that run free leagues, but if people value experienced commissioners and well run leagues, people can make that decision on their own.

FWIW.....I've never heard of a commish playing for free, and would never play in a league as such. There are plenty of leagues out there with paying commissioners that run excellent leagues. I don't want to put anyone on blast but there are a lot of newcomers to the dynasty world that should know that this is not typical, and frankly, pretty bush-league.

I have to agree here. I’ve never played in, commished, or even heard of a league where the commish plays for free. So yeah I’d say the commish not paying is definitely not the norm

I'd like to join. Disclaimer. As a player of a dynasty league, I do not pay dues. It takes a lot of time to run a good team, and if you value a good league mate, who puts the time in to stay active, make trades and manages his roster you will understand. Most people do not have an issue with this. If you don't agree with this, I am sorry, and I am not the owner for you.

DLF doesn't play in the leagues they start and can't win the pot.

Yes I know. I did not mean to imply this. I just mean that a fee is charged to run the league. And rightfully so, a lot of time an energy goes into this. That was my point.
