Free superflex Startup- 1 spot left!

Hello all, after trying and failing to find a free 2QB to get my feet wet in, I decided to create my own league. Gist and mission statement is:

A Song of QBs and Scarcity (aSoQaS) is designed to be a free Superflex league meant to give an experienced regular dynasty player an entry into the 2QB world. There are some other scoring settings designed to attempt to give a better fantasy to real world value correlation that will be explained later. While the league is free and there are some non-cookie cutter scoring rules, it is still the hope that people take the league seriously regarding activity, trading, and lineups.

12 team league with starting lineups of QB, SF, 3RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1WR/TE, 1Flex

Scoring basics are 6point rush/rec (r/r) TD, 4 point pass TD, half ppr (full ppr for TEs), 1 point r/r first downs. .25 point pass 1st down, other usuals with negatives for fumbles and interceptions, and then big play bonuses of an extra point for a 20 yard r/r and 2 for 40 yard r/r. 30 and 50 yards for passing play bonus point. Big games also get a bonus of a point for hitting each 100,150,200 yard r/r milestone and 300, 400, 500 yards passing

Startup draft will be a slow email one where picks cannot be traded as this is intended for those new to 2QB, or since it's free for someone to try out a different team building strategy even if it backfires on them (so long as intent is made to still try and win games and be the best in the league)

They will be in the startup draft. Right now its up in the air if startup picks will be tradeable or just a pure snake. I'm on the fence so I'd leave it up to the owner's opinions

To all: Right now we have 5 out of 12 spots filled. I've love to get it filled this week and then maybe people look over the scoring and charter draft with some time over the Easter holiday perhaps

We'll start the draft once everyone is comfortable with some of the outlying options in league setup. Not sure if we'll start before the NFL draft, or a week or two after at this point

Right now, it's looking like we'll be looking over and chatting about league settings as a group for a bit and making some minor changes, and then doing our startup draft starting the week after the NFL draft. I don't want to have it running through the draft, as that could give someone who picks right after the 1st or 2nd round a big advantage as someone shoots up a draft board with premier landing spot

We'll chat about a few options for the league setup (trading startup draft picks yay or nay, minor scoring tweaks, exact roster size etc.) once these final two slots are filled. I'm the commish but this is all of our league so I like having feedback and getting something together we all like. Draft is currently planned as a slow email one to start a week or two after NFL draft

Superflex startup league that is seeming wonderfully active so far. 12 owners, deep rosters and starting lineups, few scoring "enhancements" I'd love to work out and fine tune and get to something we all really love. Discord is used as the group chat platform. It's not required, but has definitely helped a few startup trades get executed. The open team still has all their draft picks so no worries there about walking into a mess
