Proper notification of quitting a league the first time, posts and comments like this thread would never happen.

Honestly I was trying to be nice. After seeing some discrepancies with what you said and your lack of trying to get the league of the ground I decided not to invest $150.00 on a Commissioner that I felt lacked the passion and possibly integrity that I require in leagues.

Since you felt it was necessary to post this subject let me explain exactly what I mean:

1. You told me that everyone gets a "graphic/logo" once paid, yet most people in your league already have a graphic/logo. No problem right? I am sure they all have paid already? nope. your league has ONLY received 200.00 dollars so far in LeagueSafe. So how did all these teams not pay yet already have team logos that THEY ONLY get once they paid?
2. Why is it that the only two people that show up to your 2015 OR 2016 site were myself and Jurassic Park (the last person to join the league) while the rest have not showed up in 40 days? A new league especially a startup usually is an exciting time, and an active time Yet you have the following teams:

Ghost Rider 41 days
Tron Legacy 41 days
The Force Awakens 41 days
For the Love of the Game 40 days
Sons of Anarchy 39 days
Last of the Mohicans 34 days
War Games 32 days
Avengers 30 days
The Shield 27 days

That is all the teams that have signed up to the league so far and NON of them have bothered to visit EITHER site all month?!?

So, the only interaction is with you who also barely shows up, barely has any posts on this forum, is asking for 150.00 upfront for creation of logos that all those above (NoSHOW) teams have. Oh, and 200 dollars collected so far. Honestly I dont trust you and really felt you were a scammer. My cash is valuable I really didn't feel like throwing it away.

Here is what I will do for you and others. I will report your league to Leaguesafe so they can keep an eye on it and I hope I am wrong about you. But I might be able to save someone from losing cash to a possible fake league?

Anyway I was nice, I went on to your dead sites and mentioned that the lack of interaction had me concerned and was going to not pursue being in your league and what do you do? instead of filling your supposed last two spots you waste time calling me out? wrong move man.

Oh btw, the interview process is a two way street, no one is forced to play in any start up league, first you feel out if its the right league. In this case it was a trust issue with this even being legit.

Thanks for the thread/post.

Have a nice day,

Governor

I posted this in your original thread looking for owners, but it belongs here to clear his name:
If the Governor says be careful, I would tread lightly. He is one of the most dedicated, honest owners I know. I play with him in another league, and trust both his word, and his instincts.
To come here and start a thread takes balls and says a lot about you as both a person and a commish. Just from reading a few of your posts I already don't trust you. Hopefully you run your league with more respect than you showed here.

Who should we be concerned about? You may want to take a hard look in the mirror and change the title of this thread. Some people just don't have what it takes to be a commish.

This is probably none of my business but as a long time commish you are in the wrong for calling out somebody publicly just because they realized your league wasn't for them. He bowed out in the setup phase, not in the middle of a draft or during the season. Honestly, if i joined a startup and the activity timer showed what he posted I'd leave too. Its better to leave now then leave an orphan. Judging by this thread it sounds like you may be an inexperienced commissioner. Most experienced commishes know better than to do what you did here. Your first step should be to alter the subject line of this thread. Your 2nd step should be to make sure your existing owners are really into this league before people start investing money into it. Judging by those log in gaps I'd say they probably aren't. Again, it's none of my business but i pride myself on being a good Dynasty commissioner (or at least trying to be) over the last 16 years. If you have any questions about commissioning feel free to hit us up in the commish corner section of the forum.

Yeah, he's the best commish I have ever played for! He is right...the owner in question has every god damned right to do what he wishes and since he is investing his money and time, he should be comfortable with the league! Mark is right, those log-in times were bad...that gets you booted from the leagues I play in!

Thanks guys for your support. Ya I really did not want this to turn into a bashing for this ALLPRO1 guy, he might be a real nice guy that has the best intentions for his league, but he called me out and attacked my reputation/character and I had to respond and clear my name.

Anyway I appreciate all you for chiming in.

log in times dont matter much when the league year was just rolled over, being a current year startup. like i said before, notification would be proper way of bailing out.

ALLPRO1 just to be clear I could have been a douche-bag and actually posted my concern about the activity level, and the other shady things on the chat board as you mentioned in your opening post.
What really happened which either you forgot or just flat out are lying about is this.
I SENT YOU A PM through the chat feature. I told you that the activity level is not sufficient and that I would not be continuing. Then I sent you an email to wish you good luck. Now again you either have not looked at the email (check your spam folder btw) or maybe you just had short term amnesia?

Either way look friend. Sometimes its best to just drop it and move on? You obviously are trying to start a league here? this is not helping your cause. I wont bother continuing this back in forth, I found an excellent league with a commissioner that had no issue getting people to join as he actually visits his own start up league site.

Anyway good luck ALLPRO1

P.S. Leaguesafe has been informed incase any of your future payee's have issues

Gotta give you credit you call someone out, he throws the replay flag out, makes your call out look silly and then you post the league looking for members in the forum.

okay in your opinion my judgement is off.... From what I've seen so far that only reassures me. I can say from experience quality commissioners dont shame people publicly. They reach out privately and handle stuff behind the scenes. The funny thing is you intended to publicy shame someone and as a result it blew up on you like fireworks in JPP's hand. It actually made me respect the Gov. Best of luck with your league. I hope stuff works out for you but if i was a prospective owner I'd be running for the hills after reading your posts in this thread. To each their own.

Or they come back on the public forum where they called someone out and apologize for what they wrote.

We won't see this handle ever again. 21 posts and all about this league. At some point I think that DLF should consider deleting this thread. The OP at least deleted his original post but kept the title. No reason to allow an anonymous person to take a swipe at someone and then run and hide in the shadows.
