2qb league looking to replace league runner up

we had a team sell out and bail, owner also happens to be former commish who did not collect fee's for future picks. the league is set up to have picks 3yrs out (currently 2020). the franchis owns an 2018 4th. a 3rd and 4th in 2019, and the full compliment of 2020 draft picks and will be getting the 2021 picks next spring when mfl rolls over.
if rolokie picks are your thing...there are plenty of assets to acquire picks, but the team is set up to win now after finishing runner up last year.

Wait, so now the guy that takes on the orphan has to pay for the future picks? Have the rules been changed now so people have to pay for selling future picks?

The franchise has used its picks and sits at the top of the league. If you want picks.... Trading your assets is not out of question im sure. Afterall, the franchise's draft capital is in those players.

There was Some discussion about compensatory picks at end of each rd 1 (18 &19)... Most feel that the franchise is near the top with the help of previously used picks.

Yes, all picks are paíd for by all members now.

OK. I was thinking about it, but I think I'll have to pass. I don't want to stretch myself out into too many leagues, I pride myself on being very active and think I am at my limit at the moment.
