Re: Jameson Williams Thread

I've held this long. Might as well go down with the ship. I'm with you. “Look, for me, I came into this game -- I think I said this -- this is his first one back, and really last week was his first practice since he was out of the building, so man, I just wanted to get him back on the grass. Get hi...

It's an easy choice.

Yes he looked good against a tough defense. Got a couple TDs, nice.

Yeah, that clip really doesn’t do anything for me. There’s way more to being even a mediocre NFL QB than being able to throw the ball a country mile. https://media.giphy.com/media/8maQUL5HiZbYLeMqXl/giphy.gif?cid=ecf05e47dntwytfwxmz6oh3ss9okzcmntb17hbj0i0itxa60&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.g...

Re: Training Camp HYPE 2023 (only football)

I'm so over the Jonathan Taylor soap opera. I agree RBs deserve to get paid more. The good ones handle 300+ touches and get hit byt guys 50+ pounds heavier. They suffer the worst wear and tear on their joints. They are a premier positions and big selling point for the league. I understand the merit...

Guy had 1 catch last year. Caught 2 of 7 targets this pre-season. Doesn't look like the type of guy who will put up a monster game, get hurt, then come back with another monster game right after to me. Sprinkle in 4 games with 2 catches for 20 yards in between those. Williams is a deep threat at th...

Re: Jonathan Taylor is your 1.01 now.

Doubt it. It's not some phantom injury. Not sure what the Colts could get. A team would likely have to extend JT to make it work, have a deal in place. Should be interesting. What backfield does he destroy? Contenders who want to notch it up a bit - KC, Miami, Philly.. JT isn't going to go anywhere...

Re: Jonathan Taylor is your 1.01 now.

106 pages, and it comes to this: Jonathan Taylor has requested a trade from the Indianapolis Colts. I've been beating this drum for over a month now. Pretty fun that it completely skipped the hold-in phase... unless, of course... he's been holding in this entire time with an "injured ankle&quo...

AB and TO made a lot of fantasy teams contenders and champions over the years, just sayin Not all NFL players with personality disorders are elite players. Most can’t keep a lid on the crazy long enough to get to the NF and you never learn their name…and there are plenty that bust when they get to ...

This is poor judgment operating a vehicle at that speed at 3:00 am, but IMO it goes beyond that. He’s a high profile personality in a brand new community to him, and his new career starts in a couple of days. It really is incredibly poor decision making that goes beyond a young guy driving way too ...

I’ve just held him and hope for those insane blow up weeks. He can sure help win point bonuses some weeks. I could never get anything much offered for him in a trade.

Re: NFL Gambling - Does the second shoe drop?

it's not a philosophical decision whether to prevent or punish. it's not about freedom of choice, draconian institutions or slippery slopes. punishing is easier (and cheaper) than preventing. plus, if you go the prevention route, it's your fault if it doesn't work. you can still punish the offender...
