Re: 2020 vs 2021 Class
2021 could be even better than 2020, although it might not quite have the RB depth. QB: This might be the best QB draft class ever with Lawrence, Fields and Lance, plus some other talented guys who could elevate their stock. RB: The big names right now are all guys who elected to stay in school rat...

Re: 2020 vs 2021 Class
Lawrence did not have a great year last year, he left a lot to be desired. I think his Freshman year and the expectations moving in, were just too high. Either way, he is almost a lock for 1.01 in 2021, so it will be interesting to see who tanks well enough to grab him. My guess is Jax.

Re: New Heights of Rookie Fever
I think deep down most seasoned players realize the hit rate for rookies is around 50%. They just think they are in the positive 50%,with their picks and valuations. Not that having confidence in your projections is a bad thing.

Not a terrible idea. I have a few bets on the draft with the sports book. Makes it more exciting for sure.

Re: Running Back Vulnerability Index
Thought there would be more votes on Singletary. I think he looked great, but Buff has made it pretty clear they want to bring in another back, preferrably a thumper like Dillon, to keep the backfield fresh. Then again, they have been hyping up TJ Yeldon this offseason, too. Proceed.

Re: Marvin Jones?
Jones has always been streaky, like so many WRs can be. Very underrated player though. Seems to have some monster division games once or twice per year, if you could somehow predict that.

Re: Diggs traded to Buffalo
I think Diggs and Allen will work well when he scrambles to buy time, which he seems to make his toughest throws (as opposed to in the pocket). Saw today that Buffalo is the only team with 2 1000+yard receivers and a third with 60+ catches. Probably just another football stat we did not really need,...

Re: Vikings offense 2020
They have a ton of holes now, so its tough to say how they draft. You know Zimmer will grab a corner early, they need line, as always. You figure WR will be a priority. Running the ball will still be the flavor of that offense. Do they split the carries more to try to keep Cook healthy? Or do they r...

Re: Most Important Variables in Drafting Rookies?
1.Eye test/gut-for better or worse, I like being the one to crash and burn my own picks, for the most part. Watch a lot of college.
2.Draft capital- the NFL still knows more than me, combined with opportunity and investment.
3.Rankings/forum- still open to third party opinions and tape grinders.

DJ, of course you are also high on Bateman (as am I). Look who he plays for!djeternal2 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 8:57 am2020 for top end RBs, 2021 for top end WRs as I have Bateman & Moore ahead of any WR in this class. And Chase is close on their heels.

Diggs. Maybe if it was a mid-first, I would think about it, but this is a snap accept.

Hopefully it's not Harmon 2.0. Though, he played alright the 2nd half of the season.

Re: Year long Buy/Sell thread
I find it hard to believe the vision was Winston's problem. I'm sure he wore contacts. I mean, if the organization and Winston suddenly realized his vision was off, that would be an error of catastrophic proportions organizationally. I'm sure players visit eye doctors at least yearly, so I don't se...
