Re: Auction start up logistics
Oh ... I almost forgot. I would also recommend you give each team a lot of money. $500 per team works, but $5,000 per team is better. Because each team gets more money, it doesn't change the relative valuations of the players. So Gurley may cost $100 in the first league, and $1,000 in the other leag...

Re: Auction start up logistics
say you want Zeke or Barkley and Julio or AB... all 4 are up at the same time, and you are trying to bid on each but end up with both RB or neither as all the timers would likely expire at different times(?) It's a cool thought, not sure if feasible though. To OP, definitely do an auction to start ...

Re: How quickly do you adjust?
I'll adjust rankings frequently during the first few weeks of a regular season. I'll do it again following an NFL draft. Lots of new information is available or revealed at those times. Other than those times, I don't adjust much, only some minor movement here and there. We are playing dynasty, not ...

Re: Chiefs' RB situation
Williams could be the guy, but I think they are going to look for a better player this off season. The draft is where the Chiefs typically go to find RB talent, but it would not surprise me in the least if they went on the open market or made a trade. They have a hole to fill on offense and a lot on...

Re: Browns being Browns again? Or bold genius move? Kitchens
Kitchens was OC for the final 8 games of 2018. Other than that he has only ever been a positional coach in the NFL or college. The body of work for us to look at is really, really small. I'm hoping the Browns know what they are doing here, and that Kitches has the mental make-up of a head coach and ...

Lawrence reminds me too much of Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I just can't take him seriously. LOL

Re: Jeff Wilson JR
If he is free, then I'd consider adding him as a chance to flip for a profit. He is in the Shanny system that has produced solid rushers time and again. The Niners may be in a couple of meaningless games where a player such as Wilson could shine. You may get some value out of him as a post season tr...

Re: Is Tom Brady droppable in 1QB leagues?
He should not be dropped in any dynasty leagues of any size. Brady has a following and that gives him value. If you don't need him, then you should be able to trade Brady to someone in your league.
Trading is better than dropping.

Well, so much for that. It was looking fun there for the first 3 quarters.

SEC Championship Conspiracy Theory
I LOVE conspiracy theories. They can be really entertaining. So .... What if Saban is a cold, calculating coach that will do everything necessary to win a national title? What if the SEC is a conference driven to promote a public image of being the best of the best? What if Alabama intentionally los...

Re: Let’s talk... Baker Mayfield
Everyone should be optimistic about Mayfield. His game has translated well to the NFL level.
I would caution anyone wanting to trade for him ... wait until the Browns select their new head coach. This selection is extremely important to Mayfield's future.

Re: Let’s talk... David Montgomery
Go Cyclones!!! So far I have only watched him play from the perspective of a (long suffering) ISU fan. The kid is a really good football player. And as stated several times before, he doesn't appear to have necessary burst & speed to be an elite fantasy back. We'll see what the combine tests sho...

Re: Josh Adams - yay or nay?
Yes, UDFAs don't typically do much. But we should take note of any player once they get their shot. If a guy starts getting playing time, then I start discounting where they came from and what their draft status was.

Re: Josh Adams - yay or nay?
Week 12 at home against the Giants could be viewed as a coming out party for him. The Eagles may build a lead and then use Adams to burn the clock in the second half. If you are wanting to flip him this season, then waiting for that game may be a smart move.
