I think the trade deadline adds a bit of complexity and potential excitement to the league. It forces owners to get in before the final playoff race is determined, and it eliminates the potential risk of an owner trading away his future for a championship today.

I'd do everything I could to save the 12 teams. I don't like leagues with fewer. With that said, if you do lose the teams, I like the idea of a separate draft of the teams' players. The worst remaining team gets first pick, second worst get the next, etc. That would certainly help make the weak team...

I don't see anyone in Miami doing much for fantasy teams. Williams might be worthy of rostering if you have injuries or have some upcoming bye-week troubles. At this point, I'm more interested in seeing who they pick up in the draft.
