Re: Albert Wilson

He's worth a spot at the end of a bench. Wilson's been an analytics darling for a few years.

According to this, too.

Turns out Buddy Howell beat out both of them. He played well in the second preseason game, and apparently that was all Houston needed to see.

Re: Paul Richardson

My expectation is he'll be injured if Washington gives him a lot of work, because that's what's dogged him his entire career. He's also not a great fit with Keenum, whose deep ball isn't exactly commanding, and the vertical game is Richardson's best element. Pretty good player, if he weren't so heal...

Re: Which rookie WR offers the most upside?

Ok so his floor is complete fantasy irrelevance? Answer is still clearly Preston. Well, yeah, and that's how I voted too, because this thread is asking about upside. Floor discussion was a tangent. Preston's floor is he gets cut mid-season because his speculated character issues rear their head.

Re: Devine Ozigbo rumored to have made the Saints Roster

Saints fans seem to be convinced Ozigbo isn't stashable on the practice squad, but I dunno if Ozigbo did enough in preseason to make himself attractive enough to all the other teams that already passed on him in the draft. He had a few flashes in preseason, but I can count the plays on one hand. Wit...

Re: Houston running backs.

Hella major. But one could argue that Tunsil is worth two 1sts, which Houston is probably hoping will be late 1sts.

Re: Houston running backs.

Welp, what do I know, apparently; O'Brien thinks nearly 10 mil for this year is indeed worth it for a bet-hedge at WR. I guess that's why he gets paid the big bucks. Whatever. I'm a D-Watson owner, so I can't complain about another good pass-catcher AND (much more importantly) a respectable b...

Re: Which rookie WR offers the most upside?

I don't think that's KeeSean's floor at this point, not when he's come in as a 6th round pick and immediately usurped the 2nd round pick and 4th round pick selected before him. How often does something like that happen? I don't know about fantasy upside, but early indicators suggest KeeSean Johnson ...

Re: Notable Cuts

I agree the O-line is in trouble without Williams, but Peterson and Guice are still economic fantasy targets -- if the defense keeps game-script viable for it, Washington could be the run heaviest team in the league this year.

Re: Which rookie WR offers the most upside?

The floor guy here for me is KeeSean. That floor may not be much north of Jason Avant, though.

Re: Which rookie WR offers the most upside?

character concerns caused him to fall And a terrible workout. Although in a way that is probably indicative of the character concerns, because the tape shows a guy dramatically more athletic than this workout indicates, which implies Preston tanked that workout because he didn't bother to prepare f...

Re: Notable Cuts

Josh Doctson cut. He was on my rooke-draft board as the WR1 of his weak 2016 class. Meanwhile Michael Thomas, selected WR6 from that class on Day 2, is a world-beating superstar on a Canton track. So it goes... I'm guessing McCoy will clear waivers, first. Then McCoy himself will decide where...

Re: Notable Cuts

Maybe a bit of a sneaky take, but I wonder if Treadwell being cut is an indicator that Irv Smith is about to be Minny's faux-WR3 as a joker TE and H-back used in the Aaron Hernandez fashion. Irv didn't dress for the fourth preseason game. Indicates he's going to have a significant Week 1 role, despi...
