Re: logan thomas
Still an incredible athlete, but not a legitimate QB prospect. Which is amazing considering early in his college career he was looking like a future #1 overall pick. Even if Virgina Tech's coaching was poor, it would take years and years of the finest coaching in the NFL to get him serviceable - he'...

Re: 2014 Combine Discussion
Combine just re-affirmed my previous rankings that my top WRs are ... Kelvin Benjamin ... What did you see from Benjamin that you liked? He doesn't look great to me today. I can't pick out things I didn't like about him. Dude looked the Incredible Hulk from the get-go...6'5" and 240 lbs. and r...

Re: 2014 Combine Discussion
Combine just re-affirmed my previous rankings that my top WRs are easily Sammy Watkins, Kelvin Benjamin, Mike Evans and Brandin Cooks.
Marqise Lee is a fine prospect, but he'll either be overdrafted in some leagues, or come as a late first round steal in others.

Re: Jimmy Garoppolo QB Eastern Illinois
From: http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?p=9215 Jimmy Garoppolo/Eastern Illinois Mon: Terrific day for Garappolo. Looked poised, in control and accurate with his throws. Did not make his pass catchers work hard to come away with the reception. Possesses a next level arm. I know it's just Shrine Game ...

Roethlisberger is the one I'm seeing more often, actually.Keith.Hughes2010 wrote:The best comparison i have seen is to Jake Locker with a little better accuracy from the pocket.

The two receivers couldn't be more different in every single possible way.Team Tacos wrote:Watkins seems like this year's Tavon Austin. I'm not convinced about Watkins' NFL potential.

Re: 2013 vs 2014 WRs
1.) Watkins ----big drop off---- 2.) Allen 3.) Hopkins 4.) Patterson 5.) Lee . . . ^THIS.   Imo, Watkins is just a small notch below a A.J. Green / Julio Jones type of prospect. He should be the 1.01 pick in nearly every 2014 dynasty league rookie draft. To wit, in a lea...

Re: Top Pick in this years Rookie Draft.
As much as I love Watkins I would also take proven fantasy commodities first. In fact, as much as possible, I give up draft picks for proven players in trades.

Re: Sammy Watkins>Marquise Lee
Agreed with everything in this thread...at this point I'd likely take WR Sammy Watkins at 1.01 in 2014 dynasty league rookie drafts, in fact. But Marqise Lee is going to be *very* underrated, methinks...and will likely be a late first round steal like Keenan Allen was last year.

Re: Top Pick in this years Rookie Draft.
There's no Adrian Peterson in this year's draft but I wouldn't write off the RB class completely.

Re: 2014 NFL Prospects
I normally view these kind of reports as fluff pieces...coaches at both the college and NFL level are ALWAYS fluffing their upcoming opponent's best player in their pressers. However, it can help to put a guy on my radar and make me tune into a game I might not normally check out. Unfortunately this...

Re: 2014 NFL QB rookie depth
I can easily see Carr over Hundley who is very frustrating with his decision making and inconsistency...but not above Mariota. Lots of scouts have been gushing all year about him as an NFL prospect.

Re: Dorial Green-Beckham
Granted it was against a weak Kentucky team, but 4 short receiving TDs is nothing to scoff at.
He may not be the next Julio Jones or A.J. Green but DGB is showing he could be at least a very good red zone threat.

Re: Case Keenum
I'll eat a little bit of crow on this one...I was very down on Keenum as an NFL prospect and in fact chastised the DLF team for constantly including Keenum in their pre-draft rankings earlier this year. I've just seen too many folks get enamored with college production and statistics and overlook al...
