Re: WR size consideration (FUN for the 1.1!)

I’m also not saying BMI is all there is to taller wrs. My favorite wr is Moss!! I’m just saying, it seems significant to me, something to take note of. Pretty much EVERY stud of this height being at least a certain size (other than Moss) in this century is worth noting.

Re: WR size consideration (FUN for the 1.1!)

Can anyone name a stud wr in the last 25 years that was over 6’2.5” that was outside of this BMI range? Thinner frame than AJ Green? Yes, Moss. He was a freak. Am I missing other players? Seems to me that this is somewhat comprehensive of the very good taller wrs…and 6’4 205 is just quite a bit sli...

Re: WR size consideration (FUN for the 1.1!)

Uh oh...there's something wrong with the combine website I used. I noticed AJ Green's BMI looked suspiciously high for his height and weight so I calculated it and...the website was wrong on either height, weight or BMI. I don't know what else is wrong. This whole study may be trash simply because i...

WR size consideration (FUN for the 1.1!)

Update: Check the bottom of the post. Corrections are in red . This is just a quick study that I'm sure has been done many times before and more comprehensively, but I couldn't find one so I did the work myself. I've read some "Brian Thomas is too tall and skinny" comments and that got me ...

Re: 2023 RB Fantasy Guru Competition -- *** LOCKS 9/7 @ KICKOFF ***

Fun thing to do, but I think (and I know it's not my baby) if it's done next year, the points should be weighted somehow. Moving from the 140th back to the 120th back shouldn't be rewarded as much as moving from the 30th back to the 10th back. It just isn't in the same realm of contribution to actua...

Re: The Worst NFL Trade Of All Time

Herschel Walker is the name that instantly comes to mind for me as well.

This isn't a "worst trade of all time" trade, but it's painful to remember. Moss for Troy Williamson.

Re: Kyren Williams

He's been so consistent and reliable without any flash. He's a Toyota. He's averaging over 25 fantasy points a game this season and averaging 5.1 yards per carry, he is not driving like a Toyota I think the idea is that although Toyotas don't have those desirable physical features and measurables o...

Re: 2024 Stashes

Although if this is a ‘24 stash prediction, I’ll say that Kyle Pitts has us all impressed come late November.

Re: The Official Brock Purdy Thread

I did two SF/TEP startups this year and targeted him in both - getting him in both at 6.10 and 7.07. He's QB13 on KTC right now... and pretty sure that's about 2-4 spots too low. He'd likely be a 2nd round startup pick next year. Stud player... perfect fit for that offense... as long as he and the ...

Re: The Official Brock Purdy Thread

Beast. The next Tom Brady for sure. 8-) I thought before it was a "no way can he continue an MVP pace" argument. Moving the bar a bit to keep your Purdy stance accurate? Well I traded for him in one league so now I gotta represent. That’s how this works, right? Oh for sure. I only know th...
