Best Weekly IDP Projections?
I consult various sites' projections to set my roster lineups each week. For offensive positions I've had a lot of success over the years sticking fairly closely to David Dodds' and Sigmund Bloom's weekly projections at Footballguys (usually adhering a bit more closely to Bloom's especially if I'm l...

Re: Watkins vs Ridley
should be valued pretty evenly, as they're both the #2 on their own teams. I defer to you on your greater familiarity with what went down in Buffalo. Thanks for the grassroots view. But I still give the edge to Watkins because he's got the hottest young QB in the league, Patrick Mahomes, tossing to...

Re: Watkins vs Ridley
Ridley just had one great game. Watkins has been through teams (Bills, Rams) that didn't know how to use him and seems to have finally landed on a squad that does. His chemistry with Mahomes is evident and going forward appears to improve with time. And while today there is rampant speculation that ...

Re: Juju,cook vs mccafrey/cooper
I rate McCaffery slightly over Cook as a dynasty prospect, yet in the same tier, but JuJu tiers above Cooper and therefore that tips the greater value to the Juju-Cook duo, IMHO.

Re: Corey Davis vs Golladay
One guy has yet-unmet potential. The other guy is already living up to the hype around him. Given a choice between two guys the same age, one a speculative add and one who is already fantasy relevant, I'll take the latter. We *think* Davis will be good but we *know* Golladay is already producing fan...

Re: Tevin Coleman Vs. Rashaad Penny
It's too soon to seriously consider that trade offer. Penny's value is uncertain and without sufficient sample size to measure accurately and his team is going through a rebuilding process. Coleman's floor is well established and for these few weeks elevated by Freeman's injury. At minimum if a riva...

Re: Which one of these guys is 'keeper' material?
I would keep Lamar Jackson if you have the patience to wait until 2019 or 2020 to harvest his value. If he hits he is going to hit big, he will sooner than later have that opportunity, and he could very much emerge like Michael Vick did during his peak years, the dominant fantasy QB. Can Sutton beco...

Re: Trey Burton vs George Kittle
Kittle has a lock on that starter job going forward and his talent has elite potential. If Burton - who has been riding on the laurels of a single big "Philly Special" play - doesn't show up in the first part of the season and Adam Shaheen comes back healthy he could fade into oblivion bef...

What to Do while Mixon Is Out? (Non-PPR)
News reports that Bengals RB Joe Mixon will get his knee scoped and be out "for two weeks or more" seem optimistic about the number of weeks he'll be out. Giovani Bernard will sub for him and rookie Mark Walton might get some relief work. In a non-PPR league I don't see either of those guy...

Time to Cut Bait on Greg Olsen?
In my dynasty squad Gronk is the starter while Kittle, Hooper, Gesicki & Hurst are developmental stashes. I've hung onto Greg Olsen as a possible Gronk bye week stash, or possible trade bait to a TE-needy team, aware that 2018 would likely be his final season. After yesterday's game he's reporte...

Re: Conner After Yesterday's Performance
Does this solidify him as the back there long term, say Bell doesn't return, or is now the time to try and sell him? I also feasted with Conner in all my lineups yesterday and have no immediate plans to sell him. Yes, his value will take a hit if and when Le'Veon returns, but with one important exc...

Re: A Quarterback Pact Made in Our League Today
I don't why you guys are bothered by something that happens in a league that is not your own. Do you have rules in your leagues that say team owners can't consult each other for mutual benefit? How is this different than negotiating a trade that benefits both teams? Our league has no rule against it.

A Quarterback Pact Made in Our League Today
I posted something here earlier today that set off a healthy polemic, and I've learned from it. Four teams in our league had made an arrangement that we thought was of mutual benefit. After reading the comments here I discussed it with those other team managers (it's a league in its fifth year where...
