I'd add Josh Robinson to that second-tier. He declared today. If I had to rank them at the moment:
1 - Melvin Gordon
2 - Todd Gurley
3 - Tevin Coleman
4 - Jay Ajayi
5 - Duke Johnson
6 - Josh Robinson
7 - T.J. Yeldon
8 - Ameer Abdullah
9 - Javorius Allen
10 - Mike Davis

Re: Best Running Back in 2015? (not including Gurley or Gord
In order I like: Ajayi, Coleman, Davis, Yeldon, Duke, Abdullah. Ajayi has the best overall game with the fewest flaws. He is a dynamic athlete, creative runner, good hands, and unbelievable determination. I think this turns out to be the second tier of runners. I'd switch around the order but see t...

Re: Amari Cooper Comp and General Outlook
By all accounts, he has insatiable work ethic which I feel will help him overcome the fact that he is not supersized nor does he have track speed. Not in the Julio class; more a Blackmon type of prospect in my eyes. Does everything well. Think he has a high floor and a higher ceiling than people giv...

Re: Beyond 2015: Some Thoughts on The Stud Devy Landscape
I agree with the overall premise. True top-shelf talent is hard to find. There's no Julio Jones that is going to combine physical freakiness with instant production and excellent character. I also think 2014 & 2015 will prove to be special rookie classes. I do not expect that for a few more year...

Re: Devy/Rookie Draft
I have never participated in one, though I know folks that do and they seem to enjoy it. I'm always a fan of adding new wrinkles into leagues.

Re: Devy Picks for Studs
Assuming the incoming 2015 rookies are owned/not available to be selected, I would not be shy about asking for all of those picks if you're hellbent on dealing one of those receivers. All are arguably Top 10 dynasty receivers, and it would take a Herschel Walker type of deal for me to part with the...

Re: Thomas Tyner
I was big on Tyner before and after his freshman year. I have cooled considerably. Straight-line speedster that lacks change-of-direction skills. Would hold him now, since his value has plummeted, but you're not getting the stud many thought he'd be.

Re: 2016 running back (pick one)
Henry of that group. Think he could be a better Brandon Jacobs.
I prefer Ezekiel Elliot/James Conner/Alex Collins to the other two. I actually think Clement is the second best prospect we have seen out of Wisconsin of late. He's not in Melvin Gordon's class; he's better than Montee Ball.

Re: Leonard Fournette
Not overly impressed thus far. Looks like another back that could benefit from shedding about ten pounds. Very heavy on his feet and lacks change of direction skills. He does not stand out in this freshman class. *02/16/2015 EDIT: He really improved as the year went on. Looked more decisive and show...

Re: Alex Collins
My devy mancrush. I love the way he runs with intensity and explosion. Looks to have good vision, and balance. Very strong runner that is growing and should be the prototypical height/weight. Top HS recruit, and produced as a freshman. I've seen comparisons to Crowell and Lynch so far that seem lik...

Re: Dorial Green-Beckham
2nd rd at the VERY earliest, and that would be for the biggest believer/apologist. I wouldn't touch him in the 3rd even. He just seems to be a guy who is taller than DBs he plays against. I don't see the dynamic ability, even without the off-field concerns. He seems to be taking the DaRick Rogers, ...

Re: KD Cannon - WR
Richardson is not a bad comparison. I feel he has a bit more wiggle. I expect him to be a dynamic college player though I have not been investing heavily in devy leagues, especially without a baseline of college production.

Re: Leonard Fournette
I feel nabbing him in the Top 15 in devy drafts is a bit aggressive. There is a lot of proven college talent that will be draft eligible within the next few years. I currently have him in the 20's; very impressive size/speed specimen. I want to see him dominate as a freshman since he will already be...
