Re: McKinney or Goodson

McKinney in a league where a sack is a sack. Goodson is on the NYG, too.

Re: Freeman to IR

Bears in tank mode already. This is much earlier than last season's tank job.

Re: IDP Thoughts so far! Week 1 almost done...

My favorite zero-LBs propelled me to some decent wins: Nick Vigil, AJ Klein, Ramon Humber allowed me to spend big on Fletcher Cox this past offseason. As LB prices go up, we have to mine deeper. Also, Barron stunk in my lineup for the first time in a long time (only league I lost my matchup). Reuben...

Re: Clowney's Position for IDP DE or OLB

I think in real football he's an OLB for the Texans. He is too light in the pants to play DE in a 3-man front. That doesn't mean he won't come up and put his hand in the dirt for a number of plays, but he's truly an OLB in that defense. Clowney would surely switch to DE if Houston were to change ali...

Re: Cory James vs Nick Vigil

Thanks Bruiser, interesting take, Vigil could be worth a gamble. However, I'm surprised you suggested cutting Darron Lee and not Jaylon Smith, lol. I'm reading that Cory James is not great in coverage, and Nick Vigil seems to be the opposite. Anyone heard that? I haven't heard much about James' con...

So Bruiser, our hope for Vigil is that he settles in at MIKE and Minter is either a sub or the SAM?
My hope is that Vigil settles in at WLB and Burfict takes on more resposibility as the MIKE considering he's quite a bit bigger.

Re: Cory James vs Nick Vigil

Vigil gets my vote, but it's very close. James has already been an injured LB. Vigil does not profile as a SAM backer and is a sneaky candidate to slide in and keep the WLB spot even after Burfict returns. Burfict may get the veteran treatment and slide into MIKE role with more responsibility. All m...

Re: MFL Position Updates

This was the final installment if past precedence is any indication. The following player position changes will be made on Tuesday, September 5th, to bring our player database up-to-date with the Rotoworld.com depth charts: ARI: Xavier Williams from DT to DE ARI: Rodney Gunter from DE to DT ARI: Tyv...

My take is that Sheldon Richardson fits as a 3-technique (DT) in a 4-3 front. I've always comp'd him to Aaron Donald, and you see Donald moving out to DE as the Rams transition to a 3-4.

Re: Camp Battles - Linebackers

Edwin is in the mix for a starting role. He's too small for the MIKE role, so Walker and Morrison are no threat to him.

I'm opposite here. I've owned both in the past, and Trevathan has the most troubling knees in the league. I really loved his toughness, but his availability is his number one weakness.

Re: Camp Battles - Linebackers

Spence droppable then? Yeah I think so :( I've already dropped Spence and still have cuts to make. Edwin still on the roster bubble. Te'o and Gerald Hodges are teetering. I need some news on them soon. My leagues always enforce cut down on Sept 1st ahead of NFL cuts. Makes for a very active group o...
