Re: The Dangers of Rookie Fever?

Definitely looks like Rookie Fever has spread. I would not be surprised if the success of the 2014 class has made it easier to catch.

Re: The Dangers of Rookie Fever?

Hopefully no one minds that I respond to everything in one post. :) wingnutty - thanks for your comment. Agreed, you cannot reject an offer because you are worried about what it does to the league. JFever - Agreed. I was in shock for a good 30min. I have never in all my years of fantasy football rec...

The Dangers of Rookie Fever?

You ever wonder how to tell when you have rookie fever? I think I know now how to tell ... Today I got an offer, unsolicited, from an owner in a 12 team PPR league. He had advertised on the league msg board that he was shopping DeMarco Murray, AJ Green & Julio Jones, because he was looking to re...

Re: who would you pick? (poll)

There is a bigger difference (imo) between te1 and te24 than wr1 and wr24. I would take Gronkowski. You should still get a solid WR in Rd 2 because so many people will take RB & QB. Heck you might even get someone to take Graham earlier than your next pick.

Re: Sankey for Ball?

I would not trade Sankey straight up for Ball. If you already own Anderson then it makes sense (if you have the roster space) to get a handcuff like Ball. However Sankeys value is worth more than Ball by a fair margin at this time ... I would value Sankey as a late 1st while Ball is more like a late...

Re: Latimer + money or plus Moncrief for Matty Ice?

Also if there is no chance of you contending you should also consider moving Dez. Obviously he will still be a stud WR 1-2 years down the road but that $45 might be of more use than holding onto him for a year or two til then. I would rather have the package of pick(s) and prospect(s) and $$. Not su...

Re: Latimer + money or plus Moncrief for Matty Ice?

If you are allowed to cut players without consequence and their $ goes into your draft budget, then you could easily cut RGIII after acquiring Ryan. I think Ryan & Carr makes an excellent QB tandem and assuming Carr continues to improve you could sell Ryan in a couple of years to a contender for...

Re: Please tell me I'm Crazy or Not

Unless Bradford can stay healthy, a big if, you can expect a lot more of Sanchez again. Seems there is a lot of speculation re health of each player so I would go with what your gut says. My gut says take the pick but if your gut says otherwise ...

Re: DMC signs two year deal w/ Cowboys

I do not think anyone is saying it is a lock or a given. Rather that with all the right chips falling into place that it could happen. Obviously if someone offers you more than you believe McFadden will likely do you take it. But on the other hand if you can buy DMC for a bargain price there is no h...

Re: DMC signs two year deal w/ Cowboys

I would say that regarding every running back there are at least 7 factors at play. Talent (a special natural ability or aptitude) Skill (the ability, coming from one’s knowledge, practice, aptitude, etc., to do something well) Health Motivation Situation Offensive Scheme Offensive Line McFadden has...

Re: QBs - Is there a reason to be concerned?

I am sure everyone has used a word wrong at some point. Hopefully we can get back on topic assuming anything else is to be shared.

I for one still have concerns over the long term viability but there has been some good points made that I for one will reflect on. :)

Re: QBs - Is there a reason to be concerned?

All I can do is hope lol. As I said, I have some concern that long term that there could be a dearth of elite talent at the QB position. A lot of it will have to do with the scoring settings - it could very well be that if there is a lack of elite talent in 2-3 years times then that may lead to a la...

QBs - Is there a reason to be concerned?

Peyton Manning may have 1 more year left. Brady seems to think he will play til 42, but that seems to be a stretch. Brees probably only has a few years left. There is talk that Newtons value drops without his rushing yardage. QB Streaming is on the rise. Should we be concerned that there may be a de...

Re: New UTH

I am glad to see I am not the only one feeling some sort of disappointment or such with the new UTH. I have to agree with a lot of what has already been mentioned. I do not really like tiered pricing plans. I much prefer all-enclusive prices such as those of DLF, FBG and so forth. I do feel, but am ...
