In my league, youd have no shot if you offered "a couple of firsts and a nice prospect" for Rodgers. Our league values established stud QBs the way you do, so if you want one, you have to overpay on your overpay. Thus, taking the rookies becomes a lot more reasonable.

People over-react so much to stuff like Senior Bowl practices. There is simply over coverage at this point and its just a giant mashup of differing opinions from scouts who don't have proven track records in the first place.

i'd still do it if I were you but losing the 2013 1st is a big blow to the deal. But I think Gore/Finley for Murray is still a deal you do with your team.

I think it would be great for you if the guy would do that. I think the 2013 first is good value for Gore straight up and you destroy him in the rest of the deal.

His yardage numbers are the problem though. TD numbers are much more fluky and likely to regress. Dez's highest single game yardage total is 104 in 27 NFL games.
