Re: Most fair waiver process

It depends on you want to measure fairness in your league; different leagues will measure it differently. If you want everything to be fully available equally to all teams at all times, then blind bidding is the way to go. You can do blind bidding the first night and then waivers/first-come-first-se...

Re: Lesean Mccoy for Aaron Jones & 2nd

I'd pass. There would only be three reasons to consider this trade. 1) You think that can flip McCoy in-season for more; 2) You are competitive right now and believe that McCoy will be a highly-productive RB in 2017; and/or 3) You believe that McCoy will still be a highly-productive RB in 2018. Yes,...

Re: Too much for Freeman?

Coming into this season, only one RB had 1,000+ yards rushing and 10+ rushing TDs in each of the past two seasons. I'd easily pay Jeffery, Thompson, McGuire, and a 2nd to get him and a 4th in a standard league. Add in that that player is young, has stars around him to keep the defense honest, is loc...

This is entirely team dependent, IMO.

Re: Which TE to pickup? ASJ, Kittle, Dickson

Dickson is last on this list short-term and long-term.

Kittle long-term, ASJ short-term. But, they're close enough long-term that, if you need TE production now, you can safely go with ASJ and not worry that you blew your long-term play for a temporary fix.

Re: tear down or continue on

I'm not sure if I would have made either trade. But, I almost definitely would make neither or both. Making one just keeps you in purgatory. Having made the Tate trade, I'd absolutely do the Allen one, as well. And then get Bennett on the block and your 4 RBs that are on the bench (keeping Zeke and ...

Re: Can this team win the CHIP??

I don't think so. And it's not too close to me. You're great at RB but below where you need to be at every other position. Gurley and Hunt as the only two above-slot players (e.g., Cooks should be a WR2 on a championship team, but he's your WR1) isn't going to cut it. And they'll come back to earth ...

Re: Ty Montgomery job security?

Jones will be the primary ball-carrier moving forward. Ty will have a Riddick/Sproles/Woodhead role but likely with a few more carries than those guys received. That was always the ideal role for Montgomery. But, before Jones's breakout game, there was no one else who earned the right to get 15+ car...

Re: Rebuild trade

This is really Monty for Doctson; everything else is this-year fluff or lesser QB in a 1-QB format.

Between Monty and Doctson, I prefer Monty, but that's because I don't believe in Doctson at all.

Jonathan Taylor (Devy league)

First of all, I don't play in Devy leagues, so I have no idea if this helpful. If not, then let me know, and I'll delete this thread. Second, I was a student at Wisconsin when Ron Dayne came out as a bowling ball, and I have (obviously) followed the Badgers ever since. I know that he is a freshman a...

Re: 2QB League Poll

Easily Rodgers and Bell.

They're both good enough to be studs in 2-5 years when you're ready to compete. And you could certainly sell them individually and should get far more than this offer for the two of them.

Re: How much is too much for AJG? *POLL*

in league that's hard to trade in, it's difficult to pass up an offer for a stud. As long as you on Kelce, engram is nothing more than a bye filler. You need the depth at RB, and i think as talented as Sammy is, his ceiling won't ever reach AJG level. I say do it. oh and im not sold on alshon in ph...

Re: Trade for Amari

It sounds to me like your hesitating because you value Moncrief over Cooper straight up. Is that really correct?? This is a rare case where, even if that were the case, I would go against my gut and trade the player that I prefer (Moncrief) for the one that I do not prefer (Cooper); the value is too...
