Re: Kaepernick vs NFL - Collusion

Max, you keep pointing to his record without harbaugh as of he had an incredible team around him, but the whole 49er organization imploded after harbaugh left, no talent on offense outside of hyde. I find it hard to believe any QB that aren't instant hall of famers that would do significantly bette...

Re: Ryan Tannehill: Long term value?

Real life, his job is pretty secure. They were coming off a 10-6 season in a division with the Patriots. That's a very good year. We've seen the mess that team is without him. For fantasy purposes, he's like owning a guy like Flacco or Alex Smith. No one is going to ever mistake them for top talents...

Re: C. Coleman for Garcon

I'd rather just have Coleman as he's the better talent. Is he though? Garcon was a very good player for a lot of years. Coleman has not shown anything yet, and it is going to be another year where he shows nothing. I tried to tell anyone who would listen to sell Coleman when they had the chance, fe...

Re: Player stacks in team composotion a good or bad thing?

Stacking is something that 20-25 years ago was a bit of a trend in this hobby of ours. I'm not sure if anyone has bothered to do any kind of in-depth analysis about it in recent years. I view it much the same way as handcuffing. It's kind of strategy (successful?) but overall I want to try to build ...

Re: Is this this collusion?

To me it's proper use of Waiver assets, grabbing guys that were once useless and making a profit. This is how I see it. We see people mention their intention of grabbing certain players from waivers all the time with the intent on moving them later on for something of value. This is the same thing ...

Re: Kaepernick vs NFL - Collusion

Kaepernick not having a job at the start of the season was completely plausible. He wanted starter money but there was no way he was going to get signed for so much. It makes financial sense for teams to carry much cheaper backup options and only sign higher priced free agents after an injury takes ...

Cooks is so undervalued on a lot of these forums it's criminal.
I agree to a point. But to be fair, Howard is as well. Whichever one you prefer, the gap is not a 1st round pick.

10 man, 1/2 ppr, 25 man rosters (to make up for it being 10 team)
25 man rosters may be appropriate for a 12 team league (still a little small, imo) but with 10 teams, I'd want larger ones.

Re: Allen and a good first for Antonio?

That may get it done if your trade partner really likes Keenan, is out of contention, and believes that pick is a lock for 1.01. The one thing Keenan brought to the table was his high reception percentage on the target volume he was getting. That percentage is way, way down this season. His ypr is h...

Re: Martavis Requests Trade

How is playing opposite a stud seen as a benefit? How are the guys opposite Julio, AJG, Evans, OBJ, etc. faring? It is a rare thing to see the #2 behind a stud be a great receiver in their own right. Here I figured Bryant's value would tank after he was suspended some time this month. Instead he's t...

Re: Week 6 Discussion

However, Cohen is not awful. 20 carries the last two weeks combined for 45 yards. Calling him awful is me being kind. He's exactly what we knew he was...a gimmick player and a terrible running back. These guys have a place in the NFL. Returning kicks and special teams with a handful of specialty pl...

Re: Week 6 Discussion

Jordan Howard turns a loss into 53 yards and then makes an amazing block for Trubisky to get the ball off for a first down. Howard is clutch. And yet again Tarik Cohen looks awful as a running back. I can't be the only one who doesn't understand why this guy is getting the football. Chicago would b...

Re: Best Site for Dynasty Rankings/Articles?

Articles and rankings are useful tools, but I find that the DLF forum is the best option. Articles are all well and good, but realize that they are written from a single perspective and always with bias (we all have bias). Rankings are generally put together by a handful of individuals (hopefully) a...
