Re: Title Game Weekend Thread
At the end of the day it was an aggressive play that just didn't work out. He's been doing this all year and that's a big part of what got this team here. being aggressive at (mostly...) the right time is a big part of what got them there. being aggressive at the wrong time is a big part of what go...

Re: Title Game Weekend Thread
And to add to the sentiment, that Campbell “doesn’t regret the decision”. He ought to be regretting the hell out of it and at a minimum seriously revisiting and adjusting his thinking process. He ought to be losing sleep every night all offseason. His team was playing great on the way to the SB and...

Is it one of the best WRs in the NFL or a 2nd year QB stinking it up in the playoffs?BabyChark23 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 5:50 pm I’m not able to watch the game so just catching the play updates. How many of these Aiyuk balls are catchable? Stats say 1/6. Is Aiyuk stinking it up or is it Purdy?

Re: Title Game Weekend Thread
Lamar has really been off. Ravens, undisciplined, and just not mentally prepared. Really poor performance. The fact they abandoned the run vs an elite Pass D and suspect run D is also an egrecious mark on Todd Monken's season. Ravens matched up very well vs KC and just didn't use their advantage. T...

Re: Black Monday 2024 & Offseason Coaching Changes
I’m thrilled with this having both Bijan and London… Obviously they’re going to address the QB position in the offseason. Not even sure why that’s even needing to be mentioned. This is the same team that thought Desmond Ridder was the answer just last season.. I wouldn't count my chickens before th...

Re: Thoughts on Doubs?
Never know what'll happen but I'd be very surprised if Doubs was more than the 4th best WR on that team long term.
Shakir is a more volatile asset but his upside as the #2/3 in that offense is probably higher, imo.
Pierce is a non-factor

Re: Black Monday 2024 & Offseason Coaching Changes
Morris could end up being an alright hire. He's young, has been in the NFL a long time, and has a ton of experience already with the Falcons. Atlanta has a very underrated roster. Everything hinges on what they do at QB and who the OC is. Canales/Carolina seems promising on paper, though I think Ca...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
I definitely understand where you're coming from. However I don't know what NEP is like w/o BB. I don't think we can assume that it's a death sentence for a WR. Also they'd be crazy to take a WR. If they only have one or two elite QBs on their board, they need to trade up. On a slight tangent - I t...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
I see. There's probably almost nothing that could displace MHJR as the WR1 on my board but that shouldn't be construed as me not liking both Nabers and Odunze. I'll give you a hypothetical, here. If MHJ goes #3 to NE and Naber/Odunze goes to LAC #5 you really think there's a big enough gap between ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
I'd put MHJ comfortably at #1 but I do believe Nabers and Odunze are close enough that my ranking could be swayed by landing spot. Like it or not, QB play matters a great deal to WR production. While AJ Green and Julio Jones were similar talents Julio has very clearly been the better fantasy asset ...

Re: Burrow or Rice & Picks
I'd probably take that deal. Essentially 3 1sts with 2 premium picks in this year's draft class is a lot to pass up for any player. The 1.05 will be one of CW, Maye, Jayden Daniels, MHJ, Nabers or Odunze/Bowers (realistically not CW, Maye or MHJ) This is more or less my thought process. The way the...
