Re: 2024 Free Agency
I am just wondering how many teams will be eating massive dead caps, after trading massive draft pick hauls, sending massive guaranteed money, and being in purgatory before this (handing top money to QBs that don't deserve it) stops. https://sports.betmgm.com/en/blog/nfl-history-biggest-dead-salary...

Re: 2024 Free Agency
Anyone think this may factor in to MIA’s thinking? Tua Tagovailoa injury history — March 2018: During a spring practice before his first full season as Alabama's starter, Tagovailoa hits a lineman's helmet while throwing a pass and suffers a broken left index finger. The injury requires a quick surg...

Re: Sione Vaki - RB Lions
1. Did you look at anything in the post or article? He was announced as RB on draft night. Brad Holmes has gone on about him as RB since. 2. They traded a 5th, 6th, and a future 4th to move into the 4th round this year for a special teamer? Yeah, well I also watched him play RB. The NFL ain’t CAL. ...

Re: Sione Vaki - RB Lions
Is he going to play RB or S for DET? I didn’t see a whole lot of elite traits going on for what little tape he had as a RB. This guy might be a great core STer for DET, and that’s very important in the NFL but doesn’t help much in FF. 1. Did you look at anything in the post or article? He was annou...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
Sorry to mess up this thread. My position is that we’re members of this board to share opinions snd information about NFL players. It doesn’t matter if that’s in February, during the Combine and Pro Days, in OTAs, PS, or TC ot midseason. If I’m wrong, please let me know and I’ll stop. But in the mea...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
BB, if you're saying you're concerned about Caleb in OTAs in May, I think it's WAY too early for that. The day before he was tearing apart the DEF. There is nothing to see here, nothing at all. If it sets off alarm bells, cool, then keep monitoring it, but as a Bears fan who has been watching EVERY...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
And this one is especially for you Cameron. I post my opinions based on what I see on the field. Everyone here likes to be right when they offer an opinion on a player, but for me personally, I would much rather post what I believe is an honest evaluation and then be proven dead wrong - which I have...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
Holy crap. Seriously? People at a FF board are getting their panties tied in knots because someone is reporting football news? FF, please delete your thread. News from OTAs is upsetting the delicate constitutions of some of our members here. We need to make certain we don’t upset them and use their ...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
He's also a rookie QB who's a month into a new offense that's also without two major additions. Struggles should happen. These are 7 on 7 drills and hats & tees practices. It’s a QB’s amusement park. You don’t see any of the other rookie QBs in these same situations unable to complete passes. I...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
I'm idly wondering: - Is the Bears Defense quite good? They were coming on incredibly strong after the Sweat trade and are a definite sleeper this year... - Or is this the fact that Caleb has no OL to speak of? - Or is he simply in over his head? He's also a rookie QB who's a month into a new offen...

Re: 2024 OTA's/Training Camp Thread
Nicholas Moreano @NicholasMoreano Really rough day for Caleb Williams and the starting offense. A lot of incomplete passes and near interceptions. In the 7-on-7 period, Williams completed just three passes. Jaylon Johnson nearly had an interception over the middle of the field. In the team period, ...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Maybe the learning here is that we should have ignored G.Wilson and paid attention to the NFL. It meant something that he went 1.20. Teams didn't treat him as "elite". The dynasty community was out of step with the NFL. If that's right, then my concerns about Odunze may not be justified -...

Re: 2024 Injury Thread
Kyren with a minor foot injury, McVay says they are going to be smart about it and hold him out of OTA's, but he'll be ready for training camp. Seems to be a recurring issue with him. The people who drafted Corum well into their drafts may get a handsome payoff if his foot/ankle issues keep croppin...
